Across Long Island and the Rockaways, PSEG Long Island has prepared the electric infrastructure by focusing on substation, and transmission and distribution improvements, as well as by performing circuit and equipment inspections using helicopters and infrared technology.Storm Hardening

This year, the program will award $1.2 million to organizations that help families and communities access critical services and resources. Applications for the program will be open from June 1 through June 30, 2026, with grants ranging from $500 to $15,000. The Neighborhood Partners Program reflects the PSEG Foundation's ongoing work to care for the communities served by PSEG. Since the launch of the current energy efficiency program in October 2020, approximately 500,000 customers have participated in PSE&G's programs through December 2025.







PSE&G programs are now delivering nearly $960 million in annual customer bill savingsi. The company has also provided approximately $1.4 billion in rebatesii to help reduce the upfront cost of energy-saving upgrades and products for residential and business customers. This represents real, tangible savings to participating customers, while also contributing to broader energy efficiency benefits that support the state as a whole.Helping Customers Manage Energy Use and Costs
Customers continue using energy efficiency tools to better manage their energy use and help keep energy costs as low as possible. PSEG Long Island urges customers to take the right steps if confronted with a surprise visit or call threatening imminent shutoff: Stop and verify before acting. "PSEG Long Island wants customers to remember one simple thing: Stop and verify first. If someone threatens to immediately shut off your power, check your account online or call the number that's printed on your bill to double check before giving them any money," said Lou DeBrino, PSEG Long Island's vice president of Customer Operations. "It may be an advanced digital scam, an in-person scammer or a telephone call, but nearly all scammers present an urgent problem in the hopes that their victims panic and miss all the clues that they're not who they appear to be. If you are unexpectedly contacted by someone claiming to be from PSEG Long Island and threatening to immediately shut off your power without payment, take a step back. Contact PSEG Long Island independently and verify before acting."Many utility scammers demand immediate payment via web-based electronic payment services. PSEG Long Island does not accept external, web-based electronic payment services (outside of payments through My Account) as a method of payment.What customers should know about payment scamsScammers impersonating PSEG Long Island most frequently threaten to shut off power immediately unless payment is made.Many scammers use phone "spoofing" technology to make their number display on your phone as "PSEG Long Island."PSEG Long Island will never request that customers use one specific method of payment.Scammers typically want their victims to transfer money via a web-based electronic payment service, a prepaid debit card, or even Bitcoin, sometimes asking people to buy a prepaid card at the nearest convenience store and then read them the PIN over the phone.PSEG Long Island does not accept web-based electronic payment services, prepaid debit cards or Bitcoin as payment.Sometimes phone scammers will demand a deposit for a priority meter installation. PSEG Long Island does not require a deposit for meter installations.If a customer has doubts about the legitimacy of a call or an email — especially one in which payment is requested — they should call the company directly at 1-800-490-0025.In-person visits
Occasionally, scammers may go door to door impersonating PSEG Long Island employees, flashing a fake ID and/or claiming to be a utility collection representative. The impostors may wear "uniforms" or affix false company signs to their vehicles. The scammers generally ask for personal information, which real utility representatives do not do, or offer bogus discounts. Again, if customers have any doubts, they should not let the person in, and should call 1-800-490-0025 to verify.PSEG Long Island employees must carry a company ID and present it when requested. If customers have doubts, they should not let the person into the house. PSEG Long Island employees are trained not to escalate the situation. If the person escalates their efforts to enter the home, customers should consider calling 911.Fake websites
Some scammers purchase web domains that closely resemble the actual URL of a utility and create a fraudulent replica of the legitimate website. Their plan is to dupe users who click on these fake sites via search results, or type in an inaccurate web address. Once on the spoofed site, a visitor is presented a number of bill payment options, all pointing back to an outside bill pay site.PSEG Long Island always uses the ".com" domain. Recently, scammers have been placing fraudulent QR code stickers on publicly available electric vehicle charging stations. These stickers contain branding that makes them appear to be a legitimate way of activating the charger, directing customers to websites that ask for personal identifiable information (PII) and/or credit card information.In some cases, these stickers may contain fraudulent branding from local electric utilities. PSEG Long Island does not currently offer any programs that require customers to interface with its website in order to activate a public vehicle charging station.How actual PSEG Long Island reps handle phone calls
Customers should also know what PSEG Long Island will and won't discuss over the phone. A genuine PSEG Long Island representative will ask to speak to the Customer of Record. If that person is available, the representative will explain why they are calling and provide the account name, address and current balance. If the person on the phone does not provide the correct information, it is likely the customer is not speaking with a PSEG Long Island representative.If the Customer of Record is not available, the PSEG Long Island representative will not discuss the account at all and ask that a message be left for the Customer of Record to call 1-800-490-0025.PSEG Long Island is a member of Utilities United Against Scams, which continues to raise customer awareness of common scams and new scam tactics used by utility impostors. PSE&G's efforts protect its customers, delivering potentially millions of dollars in real savings to families and businessesNEWARK, N.J., March 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- PSE&G announced today that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued a major decision rejecting a proposed settlement that would have disproportionately allocated transmission costs to customers—delivering a significant win for PSE&G customers. FERC's March 6 order (FERC Order number 20260306-3001) found that the proposed settlement would have disproportionately and unfairly shifted transmission project costs.







PSE&G was the only electric utility in PJM that opposed the settlement, which has now been rejected by FERC. Had the settlement been approved, it would have imposed significant and unfair cost burdens on PSE&G customers.PSE&G argued that the proposal was unjust, unreasonable, unduly discriminatory, and unsupported by the evidence—arguments FERC ultimately adopted in its order. Along with the NJ BPU and the NJ Division of Rate Counsel, PSE&G filed multiple rounds of pleadings opposing the settlement."PSE&G fights for our customers every single day, and this decision shows what that commitment means in real terms," said PSE&G President and Chief Operating Officer, Public Service Electric and Gas Company, Kim Hanemann. Cregg is a 24-year veteran of the company, most recently as VP finance; before joining PEG, he had worked for Deloitte and Touche.

NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) (NYSE: PEG) reported today 2014 Net Income of $1,518 million or $2.99 per share as compared to Net Income of $1,243 million, or $2.45 per share for 2013. Operating Earnings for the year 2014 were $1,400 million or $2.76 per share compared to 2013 Operating Earnings of $1,309 million or $2.58 per share.

PSEG also reported Net Income for the fourth quarter of 2014 of $476 million, or $0.94 per share. This compares to fourth quarter 2013 Net Income of $200 million, or $0.39 per share. Operating Earnings for the fourth quarter of 2014 were $247 million, or $0.49 per share compared to fourth quarter 2013 Operating Earnings of $248 million, or $0.49 per share.

Operating Earnings Review and Outlook by Operating Subsidiary

See Attachments 6 and 7 for detail regarding the quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year earnings reconciliations for each of PSEG's businesses.

PSE&G

PSE&G reported operating earnings of $160 million ($0.32 per share) for the fourth quarter bringing full year operating earnings to $725 million ($1.43 per share). On a comparative basis, PSE&G reported operating earnings of $144 million ($0.29 per share) and $612 million ($1.21 per share) for the fourth quarter and full year 2013, respectively.

PSE&G's earnings in the fourth quarter benefited from a reduction in operating expenses and a return on its expanded infrastructure capital program which more than offset the impact of mild weather on sales. PSE&G's successful management of its investment program allowed it to earn its authorized return for the full year as it maintained its focus on satisfying the needs of customers.

PSE&G's investment in transmission infrastructure increased quarter-over-quarter earnings by $0.02 per share. The transmission earnings improvement in the fourth quarter was less than the increase experienced during the first three quarters of the year, and reflects the impact on rate base from an expansion of bonus depreciation at the end of the year. Tight control of operating expenses and lower pension costs together resulted in a quarter-over-quarter increase in earnings of $0.04 per share. A continued improvement in gas volume and demand -- which improved quarter-over-quarter earnings by $0.01 per share -- was offset by a similar decline in electric volume and demand. Weather, which was mild relative to conditions experienced in the prior year, reduced earnings comparisons by $0.01 per share. Earnings were reduced by $0.02 per share due to the absence of a tax-related change which benefited earnings in the prior year's fourth quarter.

Economic conditions continue to exhibit signs of improvement in the service area. On a weather-normalized basis, gas deliveries are estimated to have increased 1% in the quarter and 3.1% for the year. Demand continues to benefit not only from the improvement in the economy and but also from lower commodity prices. On a weather-normalized basis, electric sales are estimated to have declined by 2.3% in the fourth quarter and increased by 0.3% for the year. The decline in the quarter is impacted by a number of winter storms at the end of 2013 that increased residential consumption, and decreases in demand this quarter from large customers. The increase for the year is indicative of improving economic conditions partially offset by continued customer conservation.

PSE&G announced that it would provide its residential gas customers with a credit against their bill for the months of February and March. The credit is an extension of the bill credits PSE&G provided its residential customers for gas usage in November, December and January. With these credits, a typical residential customer would experience savings on their bill over the five months of approximately $210, or about 31%.

An increase in revenue of $182 million under PSE&G's transmission formula rate went into effect on January 1, 2015. The increase in revenue will provide PSE&G with recovery of and a return on its forecast of transmission related capital expenditures through the year. Each year, transmission revenues are adjusted to reflect an update of data that was estimated in the formula rate filing. The adjustment for 2015 will include the impact of the extension of bonus depreciation, which was enacted after the formula rate filing was made, and is estimated to reduce our 2015 revenue increase as filed by approximately $21 million. PSE&G's investment in transmission grew to $4.5 billion at the end of 2014 to represent 39% of the company's consolidated rate base of $11.4 billion.

PSE&G's operating earnings for 2015 are forecast at $735 million - $775 million. Operating earnings will be influenced by an increase in transmission revenues and construction activity associated with the Energy Strong capital program approved in 2014.

PSEG Power

PSEG Power reported operating earnings of $91 million ($0.18 per share) for the fourth quarter of 2014, bringing full year operating earnings to $642 million ($1.27 per share). On a comparative basis, PSEG Power reported operating earnings of $115 million ($0.23 per share) and $710 million ($1.40 per share) for the fourth quarter and full year 2013, respectively.
