Cliffs just earned a Double Downgrade. The pain will continue with 6 operations now closed. At first I said $3 but it now looks far worse than I expected.

Concaves is going to flat line this pig with all the piled on debt. It's sad that Concaves sold the coal operations. So now there's nothing but scrap to lean on and it won't be enough. My $3 guess just went to a dollar with the double down grade. They will be lucky to avoid a RS near term.

In the short term the stock will rebound because the shorts were caught off guard. That said who really knows how long the tariffs will last. The companies fundamentals are not appealing for the long term.

So all the domestic steel companies will benefit with less foreign competition.
Clffs needs to fire up the plants again.

Roy hasn’t exactly been batting a 1000 in his picks the last few years. It was a brilliant move on his part to delete the my stocks section and the justification for choosing those stocks about 8 months ago. Revance, Enanta, and Cleveland Cliffs have been less that stellar.one is in the books and the other two are yet to be determined.
We all have examples of our poor choices and Roy did admit Revance was one of his worst picks.
I own Enanta so hopefully Luly does the right thing and finds a partner soon.

Where the hell is the CEO and CFO? were they both arrested? Earnings call tomorrow May 7, following with conference call on the 8th with NO CEO or CFO hosting the call. Really strange, unless one considers the corruption and foolish mistakes of the two Brazilians at large.

If both of these clowns, were taken into custody, share price will tank even further. They were warned. Shareholders will pay the price for sure.

It will be interesting to see who hosts the call tomorrow. Jefferies I suspect. This may go below $5 with a shit report.

The "fine print" is—>no "stacking" of tariffs on cars and car parts. Moreover, the steel component of cars will not be subject to the steel tariff.

The 25% tariff on imported cars will continue, and a new 25% tariff on auto parts will go into effect this weekend, as previously announced. But there’s some new fine print.
It will take 24 months for this auto fiasco to recover.

I think the big decline here is more about inflation fears and the fact that if fewer cars are sold, less steel will be purchased to make said cars. And the tariffs will tank car sales, as prices rise dramatically, just no way around that fact.

Still have some, but, if it gets a bit lower probably buy more. I can't believe the witch in Lansing would let this industry go down the tubes. But, I guess we'll see.
