$SURG LinkUp Mobile Surpasses 100,000 Subscriber Lines, Reaching Key Prepaid Wireless Milestone
https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2026/02/02/3230264/0/en/LinkUp-Mobile-Surpasses-100-000-Subscriber-Lines-Reaching-Key-Prepaid-Wireless-Milestone.html
BARTLETT, Tenn., Feb. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SurgePays, Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG), a wireless and fintech point of sale company connecting subprime and underserved consumers to essential mobile and financial services, today announced that its prepaid wireless brand, LinkUp Mobile, has surpassed 100,000 ongoing active subscriber lines.
Surpassing 100,000 subscriber lines represents a meaningful milestone for LinkUp Mobile and reflects continued execution of SurgePays’ channel-driven growth strategy. The Company’s model is built around master distributor partnerships and in-store activations across its national retail network, allowing SurgePays to reach prepaid customers where they already live, work, and shop.
LinkUp Mobile operates as a prepaid mobile virtual network operator and represents a distinct commercial channel within the SurgePays platform. Unlike the Company’s government subsidized wireless offerings, LinkUp Mobile serves customers who purchase prepaid service directly through retail locations and distributor partners. This separation enables SurgePays to operate multiple wireless channels with distinct economics, customer acquisition models, and revenue characteristics.
“Crossing 100,000 active subscriber lines is a significant operational milestone,” said Derron Winfrey, President of Sales and Operations at SurgePays. “The first 100,000 lines are often the most difficult. It is the stage where product market fit, operational execution, and distribution capabilities are established. With that foundation in place, growth becomes more repeatable as distributor relationships and retail footprint continue to expand.”
With its distribution framework established, LinkUp Mobile is positioned to scale more efficiently through existing channels as subscriber growth builds on a proven operating model. As part of the broader SurgePays ecosystem, each additional subscriber line supports long term engagement and the expansion of complementary services over time.
“This milestone reflects disciplined execution and an expected achievement as we move closer to breakeven,” Winfrey added. “We are building LinkUp Mobile through relationships we control and with partners aligned for long-term growth. That approach positions us well as we continue scaling towards profitability in 2026.”

$SURG $AMOD Alpha Modus and SurgePays Unite to Target the Over 100 Million Subprime and Underserved Consumers Driving America’s Prepaid Economy
https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2026/01/20/3221700/0/en/Alpha-Modus-and-SurgePays-Unite-to-Target-the-Over-100-Million-Subprime-and-Underserved-Consumers-Driving-America-s-Prepaid-Economy.html
CORNELIUS, N.C. and BARTLETT, Tenn., Jan. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alpha Modus Financial Services, LLC (“AMFS”), a division of Alpha Modus Holdings, Inc. (“Alpha Modus”) (NASDAQ: AMOD), and SurgePays, Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG), a wireless and fintech technology company connecting subprime and underserved consumers to essential mobile and financial services, today announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (the “LOI”) to establish a commercial integration and distribution partnership. This strategic alliance is designed to expand financial access, enhance in-store engagement, and deliver a modern suite of digital services to subprime and underserved consumers nationwide.
Addressing the Needs of the Underserved
Per the National Association of Convenience Stores, more than 100 million Americans visit convenience stores, wireless dealers, and small merchants each month for essential services. Many of these consumers are historically underserved, relying on prepaid mobile services, government assistance programs, or cash-based transactions.
Through this partnership, Alpha Modus and SurgePays aim to create one of the most extensive distribution channels in America by leveraging SurgePays’ retail footprint of over 8,000 independent merchants and positioning to drive expansion into up to 100,000 retail locations.
Integration of Alpha Cash
Central to this collaboration is the integration of the forthcoming AMFS digital wallet, “Alpha Cash.” This partnership should allow the financially underserved to cash checks, pay bills, transfer funds, reload prepaid mobile accounts, and purchase prepaid cards and event tickets directly through Alpha Cash.
“SurgePays reaches the exact consumer we built Alpha Cash for: the shopper who walks into a store every week, but is disconnected from financial inclusion,” stated Chris Chumas, Chief Strategy Officer of Alpha Modus. “Our partner’s growth is impressive and the prospect of having Alpha Cash pre-loaded on 3,000 new devices per day presents significant opportunity. The partnership is aimed to establish an operating framework that supports Alpha Modus’ commercialization efforts, expand Alpha Cash’s deployment footprint, and enable a measurable outcome in communities with limited access to financial services.”
Strategic Implementation
Under the LOI, the companies will primarily integrate, pre-load, and promote Alpha Cash as the primary financial services partner within SurgePays’ assets, including:
ProgramBenefits.com and the ClearLine POS marketing platform.
SurgePays digital intake flows and wireless signup workflows (Torch, LinkUp, Lifeline, etc.)
SurgePays consumer-facing benefit enrollment or prepaid activation platforms.
Brian Cox, CEO of SurgePays, stated, “A financial services partner is a core component of our accelerated growth strategy. Over the past 15 years, we have activated millions of wireless customers, and our next phase of scale is centered on materially improving customer economics by monetizing the moment of enrollment, when consumer intent and engagement are at their highest. This partnership with Alpha Modus advances that strategy by allowing us to layer complementary financial services directly into the sign-up experience, expanding monetization per customer while increasing the efficiency of how we acquire and serve the subprime and underserved consumer. Positioning Alpha Cash as a high value financial service on ProgramBenefits.com enables us to generate incremental revenue from existing traffic and sign-ups, driving improved unit economics, faster payback periods, and a more scalable customer acquisition model.”
Mr. Cox continued, “The strength of this collaboration lies in the leverage it creates across both platforms. Alpha Modus gains immediate access to our national distribution spanning wireless, retail, and point of sale, while SurgePays unlocks additional monetization layers that integrate directly into our consumer engagement and customer acquisition workflows. This approach reflects our strategy of driving scalable growth through our own distribution and lead generation platforms.”
Technical Synergy and Future Steps
The LOI outlines a joint plan to integrate SurgePays’ nationwide Top-Up and benefits-enrollment platforms with the Alpha Cash mobile wallet, as well as co-deploy SurgePays’ ClearLine POS engagement technology across the AMFS merchant network.
The collaboration combines SurgePays’ reach into underbanked communities with Alpha Modus’ patented real-time, closed-loop operating framework: Sense ? Decide ? Deliver ? Attribute, creating new pathways for financial empowerment and retailer growth.
Both companies will now work toward definitive agreements covering technical integration, pricing, revenue-sharing models, and a pilot deployment with select AMFS merchants.

$SURG News: SurgePays Announces Free Wireless Service for SNAP/EBT Households Impacted by Government Shutdown
SurgePays, Inc.
Thu, October 30, 2025 at 1:42 PM
SurgePays, Inc.
Free Talk, Text, and 3GB of Data for up to Five Users per Household
BARTLETT, Tenn., Oct. 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SurgePays, Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG) ("SurgePays" or the "Company"), a wireless and fintech technology company connecting underserved consumers to essential mobile and financial services, today announced the launch of a completely free wireless program under its LinkUp Mobile prepaid brand for households receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Those who qualify can sign up at www.USASNAP.com.
The program includes unlimited talk and text and 3GB of monthly data for up to five users per household. The initiative comes as millions of Americans face uncertainty about the continued funding of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly referred to as food stamps or EBT, due to the ongoing government shutdown. If congressional leaders fail to reach an agreement, benefit payments are expected to stop at the end of the month, leaving tens of millions of families without the assistance they rely on for food.
“As someone who has spent the past two decades serving the underbanked and underserved markets, I’ve seen firsthand how politics can devastate families who are simply trying to get by,” said Brian Cox, CEO of SurgePays, Inc. “Over the years, we’ve delivered billions of dollars in essential services and connected millions of wireless customers nationwide. When these families lose access to food assistance because of politics, we cannot stand by and do nothing. Wireless service has become essential to everyday life for all Americans and helping families save money during this time of uncertainty is important to us. Our mission has always been to connect and support those left behind by traditional systems.”
Under the new program, households currently receiving SNAP benefits can sign up through USASNAP.com to receive free wireless service for up to five participants per household, ensuring that families can maintain communication and access essential digital services.
“Our company was built to reach this exact demographic, the people most often overlooked and most affected by government dysfunction,” Cox said. “Regardless of political affiliation, these Americans are the ones caught in the middle. SurgePays is committed to providing real solutions when they matter most.”

$SURG News: SurgePays Unlocks New Revenue Channel with Launch of Growth Marketing & Data Partnerships Division
SurgePays, Inc.
Thu, October 30, 2025 at 8:45 AM EDT
New initiative, led by industry veteran James Herber, accelerates monetization of SurgePays’ data ecosystem and expands high-margin recurring revenue opportunities
MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SurgePays, Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG), a wireless and fintech technology company connecting underserved consumers to essential mobile and financial services, today announced the launch of its new Growth Marketing and Data Partnerships Division. The initiative marks a significant step in SurgePays’ strategy to transform its expanding consumer data ecosystem into a scalable, high-margin growth engine.
The division will be led by James Herber, who has been appointed Vice President of Growth Marketing and Data Partnerships. He brings deep expertise in digital acquisition, audience strategy, and partnership development across the fintech and telecommunications industries. In this newly created role, Mr. Herber will lead efforts to monetize SurgePays’ expanding data ecosystem, strengthen digital marketing capabilities, and build recurring revenue channels that enhance long-term shareholder value.
Mr. Herber will oversee the integration of marketing performance, partner analytics, and audience management across SurgePays’ growing ecosystem, including Torch Wireless and LinkUp Mobile. He will also lead the commercialization strategy for DigitizeIQ, a proprietary software platform of our legacy subsidiary LogicsIQ, into a powerful intake engine built specifically for underbanked consumer marketing, which is designed to convert verified consumer insights and transactional data into measurable growth opportunities.
“The launch of this division marks a strategic milestone in SurgePays’ growth trajectory within the underserved market,” said Brian Cox, CEO of SurgePays, Inc. “Our legacy subsidiary LogicsIQ utilized a proprietary software platform called DigitizeIQ for consumer intake and lead generation serving mass tort law firms. Our development team has now transformed DigitizeIQ, which generated more than $50 million in revenue, into a powerful intake engine built specifically for underserved consumer marketing.
“Instead of simply signing up a wireless subscriber, we now have a platform that converts verified consumer data into actionable marketing intelligence and provides multiple ways to monetize each customer relationship. While marketing government-subsidized services such as Lifeline to underserved consumers, we can now present a targeted marketplace of products and services to a rapidly growing database. Our long-term goal has always been to reduce the cost of acquiring a wireless subscriber by generating additional revenue through complementary services. With James’s leadership and expertise, we are entering the next phase of monetizing this data ecosystem to drive recurring, high-margin revenue and deliver sustained value for our shareholders.”
The new division builds on SurgePays’ established strengths in wireless connectivity, financial technology, and retail distribution. It accelerates the company’s transition from a transactional platform into a data-driven revenue network. By leveraging verified consumer interactions from its telecom and fintech channels, SurgePays is positioned to deliver targeted marketing, cross-sell opportunities, and predictive insights to both internal and external partners.
“The intersection of marketing and data represents SurgePays’ next growth frontier,” said James Herber, Vice President of Growth Marketing and Data Partnerships. “We are building a platform where every engagement produces intelligence, and every insight creates measurable value for our partners and shareholders. Our initial objective was to eliminate the cost of acquiring a customer relationship, but with the team and tools at SurgePays, I believe this division will become one of the company’s largest revenue drivers within the next twelve to eighteen months. We look forward to sharing updates soon as we launch our front-end website and introduce additional complementary products and services.”
The initiative is expected to generate high-margin recurring revenue through data partnerships, analytics integrations, and targeted marketing programs. As SurgePays continues to scale its wireless and fintech operations, the combination of customer intelligence and marketing execution will serve as a long-term competitive advantage.

$SURG News: SurgePays Signs Strategic Agreement with Payment Technology Provider, QorPay, to Integrate ClearLine into Next-Generation Payments Solution and Accelerate New Growth Channel
10/27/2025 - 08:45 AM
Uniting digital marketing and payment technologies through this strategic agreement will establish a powerful new growth channel and recurring revenue opportunity
BARTLETT, Tenn., Oct. 27, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SurgePays, Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG) ("SurgePays" or the "Company"), a wireless and point-of-sale technology company, today announced a new strategic partnership with QorPay Inc., a next-generation payment technology provider, to integrate SurgePays’ proprietary ClearLine marketing and customer engagement platform into QorPay’s cloud-native payment processing solution.
This integration brings together two complementary technologies, point-of-sale payments and digital marketing automation, creating a first-of-its-kind capability that enables retailers to engage with customers from the moment of transaction and beyond. By embedding ClearLine’s SaaS-based marketing tools directly into QorPay’s payment ecosystem, the partnership is expected to create new recurring revenue streams for both companies while offering value-added functionality to merchants and resellers.
“This collaboration extends our reach into thousands of additional retail environments and underscores the scalability of ClearLine,” said Derron Winfrey, President of Sales Operations at SurgePays. “We are executing on our strategy to layer software and digital engagement tools on top of our existing POS infrastructure to create sticky, recurring revenue while adding tangible value for our partners and their merchants. QorPay’s forward-thinking approach to payments makes them the ideal partner for this rollout.”
QorPay CEO, Christopher Berlandier, added, “As an API-first, full-stack payment processor, our focus is delivering Payments 3.5 to our partners, while integrating innovation at every touchpoint. SurgePays’ ClearLine platform adds a compelling marketing layer that empowers independent sales organizations, software vendors, and merchants to enhance customer loyalty and engagement directly within the payment experience.”
The strategic partnership between SurgePays and QorPay transforms routine merchant transactions into measurable revenue opportunities. By embedding ClearLine’s marketing and engagement capabilities directly into the point-of-sale experience, the partnership enables merchants to activate loyalty programs, digital coupons, and customer engagement campaigns seamlessly within their existing QorPay systems without interrupting daily operations. This convergence of payments and marketing creates a high-margin, recurring software layer on top of standard transaction processing, expanding SurgePays’ addressable market and deepening its presence across retail and fintech channels. For independent sales organizations (ISOs) and software vendors (ISVs), the joint solution introduces a differentiated, value-added offering that enhances their ability to drive adoption and recurring revenue across mid-market and enterprise clients.
Beta testing is currently underway, with a full commercial release planned for early 2026.

$SURG News: SurgePays Announces Sequential Revenue Growth of Over 60% for Q3 and Affirms 2026 Revenue Guidance of $225 Million
News provided by
Feintuch Communcations / SurgePays
Oct 16, 2025, 08:45 ET
Focused execution across multiple revenue channels with Lifeline providing the quickest path to near-term profitability and ClearLine SaaS platform, fintech top-up, LinkUp, and MVNE services fueling 2026+ expansion
The Company estimates revenue for Q3 2025 to increase sequentially over 60%
BARTLETT, Tenn., Oct. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- SurgePays, Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG) ("SurgePays" or the "Company"), a wireless and point-of-sale technology company, today announces estimated sequential revenue growth of over 60% for the third quarter of 2025. The Company is also providing shareholders with an update outlining its growth strategy, multi-vertical revenue model, and long-term vision to scale its distribution platform.
"SurgePays is executing across a multi-channel growth platform – Lifeline (subsidized), LinkUp Mobile (prepaid), HERO (MVNE wholesale), prepaid top-up, and ClearLine SaaS point-of-sale. There are synergies between each of these revenue channels, not isolated initiatives, that together strengthen with every subscriber, transaction, and retailer added to the SurgePays ecosystem. We believe our strength lies in our ability to combine cutting-edge technology with a nationwide retail distribution network, bringing telecom and financial products directly to underserved communities where people live and shop. This powerful combination of technology and retail gives us a sustainable competitive advantage and positions us as a long-term leader in a large total addressable market that is very difficult to replicate," stated Brian Cox, Chairman and CEO of SurgePays.
Mr. Cox continued, "Our experienced team has been strategically investing and building since 2022 on integration with AT&T, operational infrastructure/technology, and talent. Today, the platform and development of distribution, technology, and new products are well established, supporting multiple high-margin revenue streams for years of sustained growth. This synergy generates recurring revenue, provides competitive advantages that are extremely difficult to replicate, and lays the foundation for significant year-over-year growth. During ACP, we successfully executed at scale, generating over $240 million in revenue, with significant cash flow, and demonstrated our ability to move quickly and execute effectively. We believe our opportunity now is significantly larger than the solo channel ACP run and is more scalable, sustainable, and de-risked. As previously outlined in quarterly updates, a portion of our projected growth is master distributors' projections and commitments from MVNO partners. These partners are committed and incentivized to achieve impactful active and ongoing LinkUp subscribers in 2026. While these agreements and ramp take time to fully integrate, they provide predictable additions to our recurring subscriber base—giving us strong visibility. While we believe Lifeline will certainly be the accelerator of growth in the short term, we have full confidence that our other revenue streams will scale quickly in 2026. Therefore, we remain confident in our 2026 revenue guidance of $225 million."
Update Across Each of SurgePays' Five Revenue Growth Drivers
1. Lifeline Wireless (Subsidized)
Permanent federal program since 1985, with bipartisan support and state-level add-ons.
Street team and online marketing and distribution model with over 125,000 subscribers so far.
Online Model: Lower CAC, SIM-only enrollment; $9.25/month federal reimbursement.
Street Team in higher subsidy states: Higher CAC, which includes commissions and a smartphone, but higher profitability per subscriber more closely resembles the ACP profitability model.
Unlike temporary programs, it remains fully funded and unaffected by the current government shutdown, providing SurgePays with a stable, predictable recurring revenue base.
2. LinkUp Mobile (Prepaid)
Affordable prepaid wireless (U.S., Mexico, Canada).
Phone-in-a-Box: A grab-and-go kit for convenience stores; includes a smartphone, SIM, and 30-day service — a lead product for retail expansion.
Over 75,000 recurring subscribers (SIMs) already active.
Distribution potential through 9,000+ stores.
We believe we are positioned to scale significantly in 2026 with recurring, unsubsidized revenue.
3. Prepaid Wireless Top-Up (Fintech POS Platform)
3rd party wireless "top-ups" transacted at the register in community stores on the SurgePays network
Revenue grew from ~$1M to $5M/month in a little over one year.
Point of Sale (POS) Platform processes wireless top-ups, debit reloads, and wireless activations.
Creates daily recurring transactions and upsell opportunities for LinkUp and ClearLine.
4. HERO MVNE Services (B2B Enablement)
"Wireless company in a box": airtime, SIM provisioning, billing, CRM, and support.
Scales as partners grow — predictable wholesale revenue.
Enabled by AT&T integration and the El Salvador operations center.
3 fully integrated MVNOs on the platform.
Successful All Wireless and Prepaid Expo in August with the expectation to onboard and integrate new HERO clients over the next 3-6 months.
5. ClearLine (SaaS Marketing Platform)
Customer Engagement Tools: Stand sign with QR/NFC links to retailer-branded landing pages with offers, coupons, and loyalty programs.
Upsell SaaS Subscription: Unlocks campaign management, analytics, coupon targeting, and loyalty integrations.
Pilot Program: Active in 17 Market Basket locations; expansion expected in 2026.
Scalable Market: Hundreds of thousands of potential retailers beyond convenience stores — from tire shops, food trucks, restaurants, and salons.
Mr. Cox continued, "SurgePays is no longer building the foundation — the foundation is built. Now it's about execution, scale, and growth. Our immediate goal is to achieve profitability with minimal impact on the cap table and dilution. After consulting with stakeholders, consultants, and the board, management developed a strategic and methodical growth plan that would reduce the immediate cash needs and also lessen dependency on a single revenue channel. As we strive to transition from a micro-cap to a small-cap company, dilution and stock performance are always factored into our decisions, since we are shareholders too. In August and September, we deliberately moderated sales to secure additional inventory on more favorable terms and adapt to tariffs, refine operational efficiencies, and enhance systems, with the expectation of scaling up again in October. Almost a pulse growth model, allowing revenue paid in arrears to come in, while meticulously managing cash flow. While this deliberate decision slowed our growth during the third quarter compared to our original expectations, we still experienced over 60% sequential revenue growth. Our strategy is executing precisely according to plan, and nothing has changed — only the timing. I am confident that we will face unexpected challenges, but we have a highly skilled team that is well-equipped to navigate this industry. We are well-positioned to continue this strategy through the remainder of 2025, heading into 2026. We've proven we can move fast, and with our diversified platform and competitive moat, we are uniquely positioned to deliver sustainable long-term shareholder value."
Outlook:
SurgePays estimates its revenue for the third quarter of 2025 to increase sequentially by more than 60%. The Company affirms 2026 full year revenue guidance of $225 million.
This preliminary financial information is not a comprehensive statement of our financial results for this period, and our actual results may differ materially from these estimates due to the completion of our financial closing procedures, final adjustments, and other developments that may arise between now and the time the closing procedures for the fiscal quarter are completed.
