AUD is a disease effecting greater than 35 million people in the US alone. (NASDAQ: ADIL) (“Adial” or the “Company”), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for the treatment and prevention of addiction and related disorders, announced the progression to the second cohort in the pharmacokinetics study of AD04, the Company’s lead investigational genetically targeted, serotonin-3 receptor antagonist, therapeutic agent for the treatment of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) in heavy drinking patients (defined as < 10 drinks/drinking day), following the successful completion of the first cohort. Topline results from both cohorts are expected to be announced during the fourth quarter of 2024.

This study will provide valuable information on the pharmacokinetic properties of AD04.
