London: 16 November 2009 - Trans-Siberian Gold plc ("TSG" or "the Company") 
(TSG.L) reports the retirement of Alexander Doumnov as Chairman and as a 
director of the Company on 13 November 2009. 
 
 
Mr Doumnov has been Chairman of TSG since 2007 and helped to guide the Company 
through a difficult period while it sought to obtain the final funding required 
to bring the Asacha project into production. He is retiring in order to devote 
more time to his other business interests, particularly his recent appointment 
as a director of a substantial Moscow based private bank. The Company wishes to 
record its appreciation of Mr Doumnov's contribution and its best wishes for his 
new role. 
 
 
Oleg Bagirov, who stepped down as TSG's Chief Executive Officer in October 2009, 
has agreed to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors while the Company 
seeks to appoint a Chairman with mining experience. He will also be a member of 
the Board's Audit and Remuneration Committees.
