Got out last week. No position either bull or bear on EM's at the moment.

EM's took flight overnight on the back of a turnaround in Asian currencies.

Re-entered EDC in PM. A buck premium to last sale.

Agreed that the risks remain for EM's. My call was intended for the short-term only.

EDC is running up against the 50-day here and I exited this AM.

Volume is often lacking in both EDC and EDZ. But both of them have been nice ATM's this year.

China's "National Day" 7th day is Wed...
Shanghai Stock Exchange: China celebrates "National Day" for 7 days and does not trade.
So, yes you are probably right but its back to buisness after that and I'd be carful (day 7)

Got back in this week in the low 12's after exiting EDZ.

Chart technicals on a short-term buy signal.

Looking for follow-thru with this next week.

Both of these emerging market ETF's (EDC, EDZ) get very little respect. With such low interest, often tough to build a position.

But EDZ more than doubled in price in just a few months on increasing volume.

Seems investors are more inclined to play single country EM's rather than the whole index.

EDC starting to look interesting here.

Still no confirmed technical "buy" signal on the chart but the ETF looks extremely washed out.

Due for a technical rebound soon.

$EDC Chart – huge GAP down open – today’s Doji candlestick is forming completely below the lower Bollinger Band @ 26.33 – checkout March 10th on this chart – there was a big gap down open that day and the candle formed below the lower BB – as this chart shows the candles worked their way back into the Bands –

Today’s bearish move will likely be followed by a bounce – take a look at Fast Sto @ 9.40 – $EDC has a history of eventually bouncing when Fast Sto drops below 20 – when you combine the Doji forming well below the lower BB w/ the very low Fast Sto you paint an interesting reversal picture –

EDC Chart: Possible Double Top forming…….need to see a breakout or the chart will breakdown……..if the emerging markets pull back play EDZ…………..

Sweet Golden Cross……..MA(50) would be a KEY support level on a pullback………..$$$
