PARIS, March 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of AXA UK, the holding company of AXA Group's insurance operations in Great Britain and Ireland, announces the decision of Dennis Holt to retire from his executive role as Group chief executive of AXA UK as of June 30, 2006. He will be replaced by Nicolas Moreau, currently Chief Executive of AXA Investment Managers. Nicolas Moreau remains on the AXA Group Executive Committee and will become Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of AXA Investment Managers as of 30 June 2006, in place of Donald Brydon. Donald Brydon will stay on the Board of AXA Investment Managers as a Director. Dominique Carrel-Billiard, currently Senior Vice-President in charge of Business Support and Development for the asset management, the U.S. insurance activities and the reinsurance activities of the AXA Group becomes Chief Executive of AXA Investment Managers as of June 30, 2006. Dennis Holt (57) joined the Board of AXA UK and the AXA Group Executive Committee in September 2001. Prior to AXA, he was the Group Executive Director for the retail banking operations of Lloyds TSB, and a member of their main Board. Nicolas Moreau (40) joined AXA in 1991 as vice-president of the Finance department and was appointed senior vice-president of the AXA Group finance department in 1994. In March 2000, Nicolas Moreau became COO of AXA Investment Managers and senior executive vice-president of AXA Rosenberg in January 2001. He also coordinated the private equity business as well as the relationship between AXA Investment Managers and the insurance companies of the AXA Group. In April 2002, he was promoted to Chief Executive of AXA Investment Managers. Dominique Carrel-Billiard (40) joined AXA Group in May 2004 as Senior Vice-President in charge of Business Support and Development for the asset management, the U.S. insurance and the reinsurance activities of the AXA Group.
