Overview of Quebec Innovative Materials Corp. (OTC:QIMCF) (CSE:QIMC ) and its recent significant progress in natural renewable hydrogen exploration.
QIMC is leading, one of North America's, most advanced natural renewable hydrogen exploration programs through its Ville Marie project, located in Quebec’s Temiscamingue region. Spanning 300 square kilometers, this strategically located district within the unique Temiskaming Graben geological formation, is where QIMC has made several key discoveries that highlight a significant clean renewable hydrogen basin.
The region features diverse geological formations—including Greenstone belts, potassic arenites, and Cobalt Group conglomerates—alongside various fault systems, creating an ideal environment for natural renewable hydrogen generation. QIMC has successfully identified hydrogen sources across these geological units, validating their geological model.
QIMC's soil-gas sampling program has delivered impressive results, with several readings exceeding 500 ppms. Notably, Line 7 recorded over 1000 ppm, one of the highest levels documented to date, firmly establishing Ville Marie as a premier site for natural renewable hydrogen in North America.
To further assess the hydrogen potential, QIMC is conducting extensive geophysical surveys, including gravimetry to evaluate sedimentary rock deposits and audiomagnetotellurism to map critical fault systems that facilitate hydrogen migration. QIMC has effectively ruled out false positives linked to biogenic processes or contamination from legacy oil and gas wells, ensuring the reliability of the results across various geological contexts.
QIMC exploration efforts are supported by a partnership with the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS), a prestigious Quebec research institution known for its expertise in applied geosciences. Their cutting-edge geophysical and geochemical methodologies have been instrumental in validating the geological model and identifying high-potential zones.
QIMC is continuing the geophysical surveys with a focus on confirming the scale of this discovery, QIMC’s Ville Marie project is poised to be a key player in the growing natural clean renewable hydrogen economy. The district land package, unique geological features, and significant hydrogen anomalies position QIMC as a leader in sustainable energy space, contributing to North America’s transition toward a low-carbon future.
