The finalists were graded according to specific criteria: ability to comply with Blue Origin physical flight requirements, availability, devotion to space exploration, passion for the Space+ project, and completion of necessary legal application documents.
Ruben Lightyear Salinas (Twitter: @rubenfsalinas) is a Latino medtech serial entrepreneur, government advisor, and activist supporting underrepresented leaders in life sciences. He has pioneered and patented multiple medical technologies, several of which have become standards of care globally. In 2017, Ruben was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar and appointed by Governor Charlie Baker of Massachusetts to the Massachusetts Economic Development Planning Council in 2018. He is also an active duty volunteer EMT, a pilot, avid biker, and scuba diver.
Trent Tresch (Twitter: @Moonshot87b) is the Founding Director of the University of Arizonas Center for Human Space Exploration. Even in his 20s, Trent has a vision. With a humanities degree from Western Washington University, hes pushed the limits to bridge the gap in traditional aerospace and new space-innovation. Here to inspire all generations of all backgrounds, Trent is an explorer and teacher at heart. Space+ NFT Selection & Spaceflight Eligibility Requirements
Beginning May 10th, Launch Pass NFTs can be purchased through the project website: www.spaceplus.xyz. Thereafter, collectors who have purchased the NFTs will have the opportunity to apply to become an astronaut and represent the Space+ community in space.
Only owners of the Launch Pass NFT are eligible to apply for the opportunity and must be current owners to be considered. An applicant from the Space+ community will be selected at 11:59 pm EDT on May 22nd, 2022. The Space+ team will take a snapshot of the owners' wallets at the time of the deadline on May 22nd to ensure the applicant selected is a current Launch Pass owner.
Once a member from the NFT community has been selected from the applications for the spaceflight, all owners of the 10,921 Launch Pass NFTs will have the option to convert their Launch Pass to a Space+ NFT avatar character called Starborn. The Starborn profile pictures (PFPs), built for Space+'s upcoming metaverse, visually represent the future of humanity in space. The timing of this conversion option is programmed into the NFT "smart contract." No PFP can be revealed before the selected applicant is announced. The Launch Pass and Starborn NFTs will double as membership tokens for the holders to join the Starborn Space Program and access future additional space-related community benefits, contests, and products.
Starborn NFTs
The Starborn collection exemplifies Uplift Aerospace's vision for how humanity will maintain its self-identity and creativity within the restrictions of space travel in the future. NRP Stone (Symbol: NRPI), Inc. recently issued its Annual Report for 2021, and is privileged to provide insight to the year's value generating activities and the company outlook.
At the beginning of 2021, NRP negotiated to acquire an 80% controlling stake in Uplift Aerospace in an attempt to enter the multi-billion-dollar space resource processing and manufacturing industry. After the acquisition was finalized in June of 2021, Uplift Aerospace successfully reached its 2021 milestone objectives, and even surpassed many of the initial roadmap objectives provided to shareholders. Between January to December of 2021, the company's focus on value generation through acquisitions and operations increased the public market value of NRP Stone by over 4,000%.
Key events that led to this increase included a historic project with Blue Origin, which was later appraised at a multi-million-dollar valuation, an agreement with NASA for the first exhibition platform on the International Space Station to deploy in 2022, agreements with Blue Origin and Sierra Space Co. for the upcoming Orbital Reef Space Station, and the successful prototyping of lunar concrete as part of its long-term focus on in-space resource utilization and processing.
In addition to these key agreements and research milestones, Uplift also announced its upcoming commerce platform, branded Space+, that will facilitate transactions between low Earth orbit and Earth through blockchain technology and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The first phase of the Space+ metaverse is expected to launch in Spring 2022 and will later be used to facilitate sales between Earth and its products on the International Space Station.
Briefly highlighted in the 2021 Annual Report was NRP's subsequent acquisition of the remaining 20% of Uplift Aerospace to make Uplift a wholly-owned subsidiary of NRP. NRP also sold a portion of equity in its subsidiary UIHC 1 LLC to secure funds to scale the company's operations and settle debts.

The remaining 20% was acquired for 95 Series B Convertible Preferred Stock. The acquisition included a corresponding shareholder agreement that set a limitation on the conversion rights of the preferred shares to prohibit the conversion of the preferred shares until specific market value milestones. The shareholder agreement specifies that the preferred shares cannot be converted until NRP Stone, Inc. reaches a market value of $1,000,000,000.00 of all its common stock, at which point 5% of the preferred shares can be converted at any time.
