Swedish Export Credit Corp. filed shelf registrations at Japan's Ministry of Finance last week to issue uridashi bonds over the next two years, documents filed at the ministry showed Monday.

Uridashi are bonds issued offshore in foreign currency and sold to Japanese retail investors.

Meanwhile, Aflac Inc. (AFL) registered to issue samurai bonds, which are yen-denominated bonds issued in Japan by foreign borrowers.

The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. and other nine Japanese companies also registered to issue domestic corporate bonds.
