Since that time the patent has been broaden a bit and probably is in better hands with a level headed CEO that isn't out for himself I mean Alan has maturity in more ways than one. Our technology was introduced too early wasn't something easily understood nor could most of us and the general public understand jack chet about it. So Barnhill was trying to sell something that was invisible. He failed and probably failed for many other reasons beside lack of money.

We can try to be as realistic as possible if nothing more than breaking even will do but yes a damn good run sure would be welcomed in my thoughts.

Why else modify a patent when you can just let it die since HDC is done? It is easily beyond my understanding why Colleen just didn't close shop already sure a last shot and also trying to protect herself from lawsuits by introducing a last chance CEO to make something work?

LocWolf, this is an excellent find! Thank you! This method of screening, predicting and monitoring prostate cancer, involves patents by Guyon (2018) and Albitar (2014) which were assigned to HDC. Based upon these issue dates, these patents should have a lot of life remaining, be highly marketable and be of great interest to our CEO, Dr. Alan Hauser.

Damn shame but I sincerely believe Colleen was just covering her butt by hiring a real CEO. That way if and when he leaves Colleen will just say she tried. Now folks...I also fail to understand any reasoning for any real corporation to license our SVM-RFE patent when it dies in 6 months. As for Intel settling up with that 2 plus million dollars well Intel may have given Colleen an offer she couldn't refuse. Yes that dark area of what seems to be BS with that settlement wasn't made clear to us and why? Yes maybe things will change for the better but what does all the years that we have wait clearly indicate. Now with 6 months patent life left and HDC not talking???

I would like anyone here to place yourself as CEO of HDC and for you to get on the phone and call all these corporations and say hey I got a holy grail patent but patent life expires in 6 months....I'm afraid potential buyers would just laugh at you. I understand, and share, your frustration, LocWolf. However, I don't believe that our CEO is at liberty to send out any form of communication to shareholders without Board oversight and approval. I wish it weren't so, but I think that this is the situation we find ourselves in.

I belief it to be a tad strange that our CEO has not addressed us in any real way. Yes I believe in Santa since he is on time every year but doubt Santa would even think of hiring our CEO. No hot chocolate or cookies for our CEO.

They know who I am, where I live, what I drive and where I work. They’ve sent people, discreetly that they didn’t think I knew/know or saw and overtly with comments in passing from strangers that I didn’t understand in context at the moment until after the fact. I’ve been followed. Not just .Gov, Big Corps. Easy to tell the difference. .Gov is curious and inquisitive/protective?, trying to figure me out. Big Corps are threatening. I know it. They know it, I know that they know, they know that I know that they know etc, etc. I’ve been living in a live cat and mouse situation (not a game or paranoid delusion) for 2 years. My nerves were fried. I was sir drinks-a-lot for a time. That time has passed thanks to prayer and God’s grace. If they wanted me dead I’d be gone but for that fact I wrote a letter to The Undersecretary and Director. It’s on record. Might be a monkey wrench for the Big Tech Spooks I’ve encountered. If they do get to me I’ll just go hang out with my Mom, Dad and Daughter in the afterlife. The money is secondary. Of course I’m fighting for it but it’s not for me alone. A lot of people I know are struggling financially. I will help them.

Another issue is this, there’s been a shift of some sort in the world/reality we live IMO. Those NJ drones are not an aberration. My home State across the country is proposing to turn our National Guard bases into… Space Force bases. Somethings going on and .Gov either knows and they’re not telling us or they’re in the dark. FYI I’m not crazy (I don’t think?) and in person I’m kind, friendly and you’d never know that this is what I think.

I recall back in 2010 during the US Census being picked to do the long form instead of the typical head count. The dude came back in after I had the information either sent in the mail originally or the dude dropped the Census forms off to but anyways when he showed he did his typical knocking on the front door and I finally answered and I explained I have no intentions on answering the extensive amount of questions beyond those I always answer on previous short Census forms. He started arguing with me and I just shut the door. He might have waited 1 or 2 weeks and was back. At that point I said screw this I'm not even going to answer the front door. He knocked and knocked but I refused to open the door or acknowledge his presence. He finally left and came back a few days latter and really was forceful with his knocking so finally I answered the door and we argued to the point where he said we have your GPS address and at that point I basically told he to F off and then I shut the door again. I got to thinking about his comments referencing "we have your GPS address" I stated boiling more and more. I sent a letter to Atlanta GA about this event and I said I refuse to do the long form as it goes way too far into areas that are private. They sent me a letter stating that I did not have to nor will be forced to comply but stated do the basic short form kinda questions/answers. I did and I mailed the Census back to them. The dude that typically tried to get me to do the long form did come back and I opened the door and said I made a copy of what was sent involving the Census from Atlanta and handed the copy to him and again shut the door and that is the end of that story. I know it does help for people to fill out the long form if they are chosen but like I told the Atlanta district there are plenty of other citizens that don't mind their public information flying around well I do. Anyways regardless of government agencies or non government or whatever someones political beliefs or affiliations they should have choice and not be threaten with fine/Jail.

I still would like to know why any corporation would wish to capitalize on a diehard patent that dies in 6 months, June I believe. I believe if we were actually going to re-enlist on a OTC that this process would have been started long ago like 1- 1 1/2 years ago before the new CEO came on board. It would seem Colleen just couldn't or wouldn't deal with it plus losing her father, dealing with her own business and family. Hiring a CEO seems to be the best out for her to relive stress and cover ones butt involving HDC. So it seems if our CEO can't dig up enough business my thoughts sense that he may have already hit the bricks as his salary is what? "Prorated" which might be standard or perhaps Colleen and our CEO discussed this area in case he see no real future very early on which I believe that to be true but pray I'm wrong.

An 8-K involving this possibility within the "Expert market" would be optional! would you not agree.

Milestones, Metrics & Merriment

Welp, folks, January 8th is the key milestone. This date is the completion of Dr. Hauser’s first six months, and the performance-based share award of 500,000 more shares of HDVY’s common stock.

The metric for achieving this award is the satisfaction of goals mutually agreed upon. I would guess one goal is getting us re-listed, or the completion of a licensing agreement.

Only then will merriment, comfort of joy ensue.

I would fail to see that too, but the partisan “see no evil, hear no evil” pro-HDVY propaganda you promulgate bears no resemblance to logic or reason, as most previously die-hard HDVY supporters seem to be reluctantly accepting.

Buylow2, yes it would be nice to know why HDVY settled for such a paultry sum, when there was the expectation of so much more. But the fact is, as shareholders, we may never be privy to that kind of insider information.
Of course, one could always speculate and come up with at least two possible reasons:
1.) At the disclosure phase of the legal process, HDC attorneys could not identify enough proveable damages to warrant a greater settlement.
2.) HDC attorneys accepted a lowball offer from Intel just to get this nightmare over with, once and for all. They may have been thinking that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Translation: They perhaps thouht it more prudent to accept a sure thing ($2.25 mil) than to gamble for more and possibly end up with nothing.
These are two possible explanations, however, there may be more. JMHO.

Good points, LocWolf, however, I might add that when the USPTO issues a patent, it grants that the patent owner has EXCLUSIVE rights to that invention, including the exclusive right to pursue the monetization of that patented invention. This is what entitles the patent owner with the right to sue in cases of infringement. At some point in this legal process, after infringement has been ascertained by the court, a Cease and Desist Order may be issued by the court. Your point is well taken, however, that a Cease and Desist Order should not be granted prior to a determination by the court that infringement has occured.

Chazzy, all patents issued by the USPTO give the owner the right to use that patent and nothing more.

It would seem reasonable to issue a "Cease and Desist" if you felt a company was infringing but what if you were wrong? That order could be a double edge sword. In the case involving NEO...heck we licensed just about our entire patent portfolio to them.

PTAB...yes this is needed but as we have seen in the past with a 3 Judge panel it just isn't 100% and the balance could go either way. Mind you the depth of some of these patents such as ours was beyond our Universe but still the USPTO trys to do heir best and is why "they" state that the "patent" being issued is nothing more than the owner to use that patent. So the following legal/PTAB is needed to define a patent far, far beyond the basic USPTO patent approval and issuing.

Time to admit that both HDVY and VPLM are both insider enrichment scams masquerading as wannabe patent trolls.

I think that I recall reading somewhere that one of the proposed rule changes under the new Trump administration, which would strengthen the rights of patent owners, is that patent owners would have the right to file a cease and desist order while their infringement case is being litigated. This would remove a huge incentive for the defendant to drag out the case, and it would increase the incentive for them to seek an expedited settlement.
Another proposed rule change that would speed up the process for patent owners, would be to severely curtail the IPR abuses at the PTAB. The IPR process is a legal maneuver used by defendants which can literally add years to the pathway to monetization.
Once a patent has been issued by the experts at the USPTO, it should not be subject to invalidation at the district or federal court level. Those courts should only be concerned with establishing whether or not infringement occurred, and if so, calculating and awarding applicable damages to the plaintiff.

I hear your frustration and understand. I have a bit different opinion. It’s my belief Corporations using RFE SVM should not be allowed to decide whether they’re going to deal anyone. They need to be dealt WITH. If this goes down the way you think then we are all living in a bonfide Corporatocracy with no concern for the Law or its citizens therefore is illegitimate. I doubt any real corporation would deal with HDC until HDC had filed all their SEC filings and of course updated Georgia records. I just feel it would be far too risky however, if indeed we are actually headed to the bone yard the only ones to survive this would be 1st Management BUT if I place myself in that position I would do as HDC has done and hire a concrete CEO so this might lessen the impact of any potential lawsuits I mean if Management is showing a good effort that will somewhat protect a image (if any and one way or the other) from getting too far in a negative way. It would seem after looking at all this for 21 plus years I choose to be naive in a huge way. So any lawsuits in my mind should have transpired back in the Barnhill Shuffle days not with George or Colleen.

It is frustrating to not hear any updates from the company, which could only mean that there is nothing newsworthy to report. I still think that company insiders have more incentive than the average shareholder to monetize HDC's IP. They own far more shares than any of us, which are virtually worthless until they can make something happen that would grow this stock.

“Decency” and “HDVY” are not two words that belong together in the same sentence.

Neither are those who have pretended throughout, even to this day, that this sorry exercise in parting the gullible retail shareholders and passing it to insiders was ever a legitimate concern entitled to any label involving decency (except as applies to the lack of the same).

Hopefully they have the decency to tell loyal shareholders it’s over if it’s over via a filing. So ridiculous already.

LocWolf, I have not checked in on this board in a few days, so I am just now seeing the exchange you had with sunspotter. I do appreciate your kind words in reference to me. I think that sunspotter knows that I have no affiliation with VPLM or HDVY other than as a retail shareholder. He and I have expressed some diametrically opposing viewpoints from time to time, and I must agree with you that he writes some rather compelling arguments. Sunspotter does have executive level business experience, and generally knows what he is talking about. However, I have never believed that HDC or VoIP-Pal were "scam" companies solely out to defraud their shareholders, and I still do not believe that. Maybe I am just naive, but I do know that after landing a settlement agreement with Intel (which shocked sunspotter), HDC's board hired a new CEO with a stellar reputation in business development bio-engineering to monetize HDC's IP. Just how successful Dr. Hauser can be with his mission remains to be seen, but a scam? No.
VoIP-Pal has been fighting a lengthy, uphill battle within a legal system that is clearly stacked against the patent owner. There are two patent infringement cases in Waco, Texas that are currently awaiting a response from Judge Albright on a motion for reconsideration, filed by VP's legal team. I happen to agree with VP attorney, Hudnell, that Judge Albright made some serious errors of law (e.g., citing the wrong precedent, and getting confused about the claim construction terms in his initial ruling of non-infringement). However, not winning a court case that was repleat with reversable errors does not make VoIP-Pal a scam. They could actually still get a favorable ruling on this. But as things stand currently, sunspotter appears to be more correct than me, however, it is too early to call a winner as both games are still in play and the underdogs could still win. When and if that happens, I will be far less surprised than sunspotter. JMHO.

I have known Chazzy for years and believe him to be true and honorable. Charles and I have also talked on the phone but I haven't visited him yet. He is a remarkable man and maybe many do not know much about him or his worldly past and of course his special gift but I do. Now this is not to say he may not waver as many of us do so depending on the stress pushing on us. This is not to say directly about stocks but in general and believe you to truly understand too.

LocWolf, you are certainly right about having a sense of humor. It can be therapeutic as it helps us cope with difficult situations when we are at a loss for answers. I do not believe that Alan has "left the building" as they say. Besides, a definitive material event like that would necessitate another 8 K filing. I think it is safe to assume that he is at work trying to make things happen that would bring value to shareholders, of which he is one. I would love to be a fly on the wall in his office, and eavesdrop on his conversations. It might be very interesting and possibly exciting. Like everyone else here, I am getting antsy for some kind of news, I must admit.

Hey there Charles...I'm sure you may have seen what I'm about to say elsewhere within the internet with these penny stocks. From as recent as 1 year ago at most I read where an attorney can sign a letter referencing company compliance. Now of course I'm sure there must be a tad more than that but all in all when in hell has HDC ever been straight forward for any length of time. For all we know our most recent CEO - Alan might be long gone already so I doubt HDC would even whisper a word or take a chance to sneeze.
