The project just hit a milestone with 1,000 workers currently on-site. Demolition and grading are complete, allowing vertical construction to begin on a 4.4-gigawatt natural gas power plant slated for 2028. This $10 billion redevelopment, led by Knighthead Capital Management, aims to revitalize Indiana County by replacing aging infrastructure with modern energy solutions and future data centers. Four quarters of beating estimates, a P/E of 4.66, and 24.8% distribution (return of capital that is largely untaxed till your cost is returned), makes this the diamond in the rough.

That's me. I do my own taxes. On paper! Consequently, trusts and limited partnerships are traded in my IRA. Normally a pink in an IRA is crazy but not with ECTM! I realize that I miss the LT capital gains benefit but at least it all just keeps growing tax free until the RMDs kick in.

Unlike some high yield stocks that do not give much time to add before ex day, like Yieldmax stocks for example that give 0 days, .... these MLP's, even on the OTC like this one, give plenty of time. ECTM can be bought for the next 10 days and receive the healthy distribution because ex is 11 days on the 23rd. (1 day settlement). IMHO ECTM is underfollowed, so get on any chat on Yahoo finance, other boards here on hub, or any other platform that discusses investments and spread the good word!
If I add up all my distributions since 2021 it may total more than I paid for some lots back then, therefore the distribution becomes taxable long term 15%. The K-! which will come in early March gives accountants the details to correctly file. Some folks avoid simply because of the complexity of K-1 return of capital MLP's.
My account is very sharp and also took care of filing PA's little share for owning commonwealth land ECTM is working. She said I don't owe them this year. 😌

It is near double last quarter. Of course we expected an increase based on monitoring the Natty chart. It peaked in December, (See the 2025 chart below)
The 4th quarter is what are being rewarded for owning. I guess we will all keep owning this gem. In my case I will sell some of a large position to new investors seeking the 24% annualized payout. Add back on the mid quarter dip. GLTA!

upside surprise seems likely, and It covers the last quarter of 2025's run up in gas pricing.
This week the recent dip was a short few days to the low 3's and we are seeing the 5 number again! May will also see a good dividend. ECTM is headed for $1. Mark it.

Right, watch Europe, because it imports over 85% of its rising use of natural gas. Price pressure there is upwards. They are trying to reduce Russian gas. Venezuela is not a fracking supplier, much more a heavy crude that needs more refining. Largest supply country in the world where Maduro stole all the major oil companies facilities there.
The heavy VZ oil... A bit like the oil sand in Northern Alberta. The XL on/off pipeline from Canada is for that heavy oil.
Even when companies get the permits from the gov it takes years and billions to build new facilities.

I also don't know how much, if any, NG we get from down south of the border.

Tax loss harvesting strategy that is normal for December.
Current rules limit it to $3000 per year can be deducted from ordinary taxable income, so if not already taken in 2025 that would reduce what you owe the IRS in 2026 for this year, or increase what you receive if employed and due a return. It has nothing to do with dividend distribution which is largely untaxed on this master limited partnership. Pennsylvania requires a small amount paid to the Commonwealth.
I anticipate an increase in the February quarterly distribution based on Gas price holding higher than previous quarter.

Agreed Pete. Right now, at .02/shr, I'm getting a 12 percent divi my cost basis. Yup, I'll keep holding these shares!

The previous was .02 so actually it is right on target. it is based on the price of gas in the previous quarter, not the current price. Of course it will be better going forward with the upward pressure on gas now and the May .052 payout may be eclipsed, as is shown on the chart:

All's I can say is maybe next time. In the meantime at quarterly .02 divi on a stock in the 50-60 cent range is still a gift! We remain undervalued.
