$BYDDF and Kandi Technologies $KNDI may seem like two very different companies, but together they illustrate the full spectrum of ambition driving the electric-vehicle and battery revolution. One is a global powerhouse reshaping the standards of EV safety and battery engineering. The other is an emerging infrastructure innovator helping build the backbone of China’s—and increasingly America’s—electrification future. Their stories intersect at a moment when the world is demanding safer batteries, faster charging alternatives, and resilient supply chains.
BYD has long been recognized as one of the world’s most influential EV and battery manufacturers, but its introduction of the Blade Battery marked a turning point in the industry. In 2021, BYD announced that all of its pure electric vehicles would be equipped exclusively with this ultra-safe battery technology, which is engineered to eliminate the risk of combustion—one of the EV industry’s most persistent challenges. The Blade Battery passed the notoriously difficult nail penetration test, often described as the “Everest” of battery safety evaluations, demonstrating that it would not spontaneously ignite even under extreme internal damage. It also survived being rolled over by a 46-ton heavy truck, a dramatic demonstration of structural strength and thermal stability.
This commitment to safety has helped BYD dominate China’s EV market for eight consecutive years, with models like the BYD Han consistently selling more than 10,000 units per month. The company’s strategy is clear: build batteries that are not only powerful and long-lasting but also fundamentally safer than anything else on the road. In doing so, BYD has set a new global benchmark for what EV consumers should expect from their vehicles.
Kandi Technologies, meanwhile, has undergone a remarkable transformation of its own. Once known primarily as a budget EV maker, Kandi is now emerging as a critical player in China’s—and America’s—battery-swap and lithium-battery infrastructure. Its partnership with CATL, the world’s largest EV-battery manufacturer, has thrust the company into the spotlight. Through its subsidiary China Battery Exchange, Kandi is supplying the core components—from robotic arms to thermal-control modules—for CATL’s massive “Ten Thousand Station Plan,” which aims to deploy more than 10,000 battery-swap stations across China.
Battery swapping, once considered a niche idea, is now gaining momentum thanks to its ability to refuel EVs in under 90 seconds—an invaluable advantage for logistics fleets, taxis, and heavy-duty trucks. Kandi’s first heavy-truck swap station is expected to go live soon, marking a major step in its evolution from vehicle maker to infrastructure enabler. At the same time, Kandi is expanding into the United States through a joint venture with CBAK Energy to build two lithium-battery production facilities, one focused on pack assembly and the other on cell manufacturing. This move aims to strengthen the domestic supply chain for off-road and recreational EVs while tapping into U.S. clean-energy incentives.
Together, BYD and Kandi represent two essential pillars of the EV revolution: safety and infrastructure. BYD is redefining what a safe, reliable EV battery should be, while Kandi is helping build the systems that will power and maintain the next generation of electric mobility. Their paths may differ, but their impact is converging—shaping a future where electric vehicles are safer, more accessible, and supported by a resilient global energy ecosystem.

HE & ZUCK 'ofspring' on 'BYDDF (BYDDF)'
ARE CUMMUNIST
RE;
"Bill Gates has made a fool of himself with his comments about China over the years. He has also personally invested in Chinese companies that are improving the military. He and Warren Buffett both invested in a company called "BYD" that, among other things, is developing technology to launch military satellites into space for China.
So Bill Gates is subsidizing that. But more than that, Bill Gates is also an advisor to President Xi. He was brought into something called the Chinese Academy of Engineering, which sounds so wonderful and khaki-oriented. It is actually an organization that is obviously controlled by the Chinese Communists
and is only open to members who are considered politically reliable. The organization itself says so. Bill Gates is a member in the capacity of this body, advising the Chinese government on technological conflicts
