In my opinion, if Blue Biofuels and Vertimass begin projecting VertiBlue Fuels as a standalone company/platform at this stage, it could materially change both the financing narrative and the operational trajectory.
Given the current situation:Blue Biofuels has weak balance-sheet strength; VertiBlue carries the “clean” SAF growth narrative; the project has site control, USDA pathway, scalability thesis, and policy alignment.
Investors may respond better to a focused SAF platform than to a distressed microcap parent company. This is very common in energy/infrastructure finance.

Waiting for them to execute on something is beyond a parody. Seems like they can’t deliver on anything, with markets at all time high, they can’t come up with $10-15mil to qualify for something big. Management is a joke, and seems like there will never be light at the end of the tunnel with them. Over 10 years of nada with them.

Don't know. they were a bit cagey with the language. "...for an insurance wrap intended to help secure financing for the project." It could mean they have it on the condition of the wrap or that they think having an agreement for the wrap would help them get financing in general. I'm optimistic, but I'm always optimistic.

This seems like the kind of thing they would do if they were ready to begin some kind of construction. To me it means they are ready to go and may have gotten the financing they need, but the financer may want this kind of insurance as a condition of funding the project. It feels good to me.

In the full x post, they say they have a letter of intent with two insurance companies for an insurance wrap. As I understand it an insurance wrap is a single policy that covers all the contractors for a project. It augments the credit worthiness of a project by putting an major insurance carrier behind it.

Maralago has meeting rooms with dinner sometimes used for meetings with potential investors. I imagine this is what it means, not a meeting with Trump or his people. The linkedin post says, they were kicking off their promotional tour, and "while increasing awareness among both the public and investors." This context indicates to me that it was investors. But who knows.

Im optimistic as these things take ALOT of time and ALOT of money. Folks, there is substantial amount of variables taking place as we speak. I am more than disappointed with the SP but absolutely nothing we can do but wait. Hopefully the financing and project move forward this year :)

so. we have an an insane bull market in tech. we have oil at 100 dollars a barrell, Saf should be paramount on the airline and shippinh industry to lower cost of travel. and all these guys can do is this, No big money deals noplant or retrofit in site, just more nonsenseical announcements that mean nothing. this industry should be booming and yet her we are all of these stocks cannot get out of their own way, call me crazy buy something is rotten in da USA

It is a bit strange to say the least. If you know you have $150mil pretty much approved, all things considered, then they should fight like hell to secure some $10mil or so to qualify. Seems like a no brainer. Does anyone one knows what is holding them up?

Why can’t they raise $10mil if they will then be qualifying for $150mil government grant? Seems like an easy task. If the gov phase is pretty much guaranteed once they come up with the min investment of 7-10mil, why can’t they borrow or raise these funds to get what they need to finally move into production. Seems like it is not that hard of a task, especially if everything works as they claim…

Im suspecting money will come in middle of summer. It's not "if" anymore., it's when ? Exciting next few months and believe we won't be trading in the cents rather in the dollars :) lots to work out...be patient folks. We're almost there :)

Yep, that's the $3M to $12M (if I remember correctly) that they need to raise to have equity or "skin in the game" to qualify for the up-to-$148M loan.

$12M / $160M = 7.5%. I wonder if the sliding scale (required equity position) remains the same if they are only able or want to raise, say, $3M?

As I read this, Blue already has a lender, and now has to submit a phase two application.

One of the requirements is that the borrower make a significant equity contribution. The exact language is as follows:
"The borrower and other principals involved in the project must make a significant cash equity contribution."

This is from the DOA page not the statute.

That may be why they are raising money.
