All of that is correct, and in all that time and all that study there has not been a single commercially reliable net positive amount of energy created. Yet somehow many on here believe that this tiny OTC ticker has stumbled on the way to make fusion work for commercial purposes. If it actually worked, this wouldn't be a penny stock available to the public, it would have been acquired by VCs, private equity or other billionaires and made private until it was ready for commercial release at which time they would become trillionaires. Think of it like any pro sport, there are scouts everywhere to find the hidden gems in the tiny towns so those kids can still make it to the pros. The same thing happens with technologies, really smart people with tons of money are always looking under every stone to find these things and when they find them, they acquire them and make even more money.

Why a Texatron-type device cannot reach Q = 1

The Texatron claims a pulsed, compact, room-temperature, low-power fusion system with:

No cryogenics
No high-field magnets
No neutron shielding
No tritium handling
No vacuum system specs
No thermal management
No diagnostics

This is not a recipe for Q = 1 — it’s a recipe for zero measurable fusion.

The physics problem

To reach Q = 1 with D-T fusion, you need:

Ion temperatures of 10–20 keV (100–200 million °C)
Confinement times of 0.1–1 seconds (tokamak) or 10?¹¹ seconds (inertial)
Plasma densities of 10²° m?³
A Lawson triple product of roughly 10²¹ keV·s·m?³

The Texatron provides no mechanism to achieve any of these.

Their “pulsed electromagnetic compression” is essentially a Z-pinch toy concept without the current, geometry, or stability to produce fusion-relevant conditions.

Even if Texatron hit Q = 1, it still wouldn’t matter

This is the part AMFN supporters don’t understand.

A Q = 1 device is not viable for any purpose — scientific, commercial, or engineering.

Why Q = 1 is useless

You still need 10× more power to run the system than you get out

You cannot extract electricity from the fusion pulse

The real red flag: Texatron never defines which Q they mean
There are multiple Q definitions:

Q_plasma — fusion power vs. plasma heating
Q_engineering — fusion power vs. wall-plug power
Q_electric — net electricity out

Texatron never specifies which one they’re talking about.

Bottom line

Just to inform the uninformed, Patent applications do not prevent scientific peer review; in fact, they require absolute, granular disclosure of how an invention works to be granted. Furthermore, independent verification of a working prototype can easily be done under strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) without compromising intellectual property. In the scientific community, especially concerning nuclear fusion or advanced energy generation, a total absence of peer-reviewed data or third-party validation usually means the underlying data cannot withstand scientific scrutiny.

Theres no law that states when you have to publish.

2. The “independent validation” section is structurally impossible
They claim:

Independent PhD-level reviewers
Independent verification of fusion reaction rates
Independent verification of aneutronic operation
Independent verification of net energy

No independent fusion lab or academic group will validate a pink-sheet OTC company’s proprietary reactor. There is no precedent for this in fusion history. It's not done this way. And what "independent" fusion lab???

Publishing a peer-reviewed fusion paper would validate the technology, attract real funding, silence the critics, and the biggest reason for a guy like Brandenburg...Make him historically significant. D–He 3 fusion requires approximately 200 million °C (360 million °F). There is no compact system on earth currently maintaining those temperatures in a commercially viable way. 🤔Pulsed, Magnetically Confined Plasma🙄 sounds high-tech, but it is standard fusion terminology. The breakthrough isn't the method it’s the containment.
