@teevee James Bay region is one of the most important spodumene districts world wide, with largest deposits hosted in volcanic greenstone belts as exemplified by PMET's Corvette prospect. Not all greenstone belts host spodumene rich pegmatites. The key are Vieux Comptoir 3 spodumene rich pegmatite intrusions. When they do, as in the case of PMET, the entire greenstone belt is prospective. $OZAU recently picked up the western half of the greenstone belt that is host to known spodumene rich Vieux Comptoir pegmatites (see, click on and zoom - nAvcr3 in reference below). Today, $OPHR announced they acquired the eastern half of the greenstone belt, with at least one known pegmatite with spodumene. Proximity to a Vieux Comptoir batholith and a favourable structural setting bodes well for discovery of additional spodumene rich pegmatites in this belt. Ophir Gold Corp. Announces Start of CSAMT Program

From talking to Mr. Westcott, here is my understanding. The gold in these epithermal systems is mainly in the quartz and silicification. The CSAMT will show Ophir where all the silicification is across the property where they run this survey. Based on old drill data, and modern surface exploration and mag survey, Ophir is in a treasure hunt to find where the gold is. The CSAMT survey underway will be the most useful tool to help them find where to drill to find where silicification and hence gold potentially is. It will also show Ophir just how big the Breccia zone trend is, and where new targets are, that are currently “blind” to them.

Not surprising at all. I've been expecting this for some time, following the reverse takeover (RTO) of MinKap. A small company doesn't need a President in addition to a CEO. Sounds like everything was amicable.
