Got a friend working for GeoVector http://www.geovector.ca/ who is doing prospecting work on the Sturgeon River Mine.

He says,"I went prospecting today and found alot of good zones that hadnt even been prospected yet, but yea we have a bunch of samples that are gonna head out as soon as I split all the drill core tomorrow with the core saw".


From my understanding of talking to my friend, he said that the mine was abandoned in the '40s due to not having enough man power and that there is a good chance of a TON of AU in the mines.
