Copper Fox Announces Porphyry Copper Discovery and Strong Vectors Toward Core at Mineral MountainJune 11, 2026 6:00 AM

("Desert Fox"), are pleased to report preliminary results from diamond drillhole (DDH) MM-02-2025 at its 100% owned Mineral Mountain porphyry copper project in Arizona. DDH MM-02-2025 has confirmed the presence of a large, evolved porphyry copper-molybdenum system and intersected the outer portion of a mineralized copper shell, with multiple geological indicators suggesting increasing mineralization at depth and proximity to the core of the system. DDH MM-01-2025 intersected the "shoulder" of the system approximately 1.3 kilometers (km) southwest of DDH MM-02-2025. Elmer B. DDH MM-02-2025 can be re-entered to deepen the drillhole to test the core of the porphyry system below 1,700m and used for step-out drilling to define the lateral extent of the copper shell. DDH MM-02-2025 intersected a fine-grained granodiorite from surface to a depth of 380.09m and PreCambrian Pinal Schist from 380.09m to the end of the hole at 1,697.35m. These lithologies are intruded by a series of synchronous and post mineralization rhyolite porphyry, quartz monzonite porphyry, and quartz latite porphyry dikes of variable thickness.Alteration
DDH MM-02-2025 intersected early potassic (hydrothermal biotite, anhydrite, magnetite veins, and K-spar envelopes) overprinted by propylitic (epidote-chlorite-actinolite) followed by strong phyllic ((quartz-sericite-pyrite or "QSP") and locally late intermediate argillic (fresh K-spar & plagioclase altered to sericite) like that observed in porphyry copper systems. Beginning at approximately 600m below surface, the drillhole intersected propylitic altered Pinal Schist to a depth of approximately 1,140m. The QSP alteration (1140-1697.35m) shows increasing pyrite content (up to 3%) coarse-grained sericite, quartz veining (up to 41%) and obliterates the original fabric of the Pinal Schist associated with increasing molybdenite and trace bornite concentrations toward the end of the hole. The localized late-stage intermediate argillic alteration is associated with a weakly mineralized "quartz eye" quartz monzonite porphyry. The drillhole is interpreted to have penetrated the outer portion of the "copper shell" and indicates vectoring toward an expected higher-grade potassic core typically seen in porphyry systems. Analytical Results
Sampling of DDH MM-02-2025 began at a core depth of 896m within propylitic altered Pinal Schist. characterized by crackle texture, chlorite-epidote alteration envelopes, scattered thin veinlets of vuggy K-spar-quartz-chlorite-epidote-pyrite-chalcopyrite-scheelite and thin red-fluorescent calcite veinlets. Analytical results for the sampling between 896m and 1,394m have been received and returned the following metal concentrations: copper: from 12.9 to 2,032 ppm (0.203%), molybdenum: from 1.0 to 515 ppm (0.051%) and silver: from 0.1 to 4.5 ppm (Figure-2). The analytical results show an increasing trend in copper-molybdenum values at depth associated with strong phyllic alteration and quartz-chalcopyrite ± molybdenite veining.The core interval 1,365 to 1,394m exhibits intense quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration and elevated copper, (58.9 to 2,032 ppm (0.203%), molybdenum 22.0 to 515.0 ppm (0.051%) and 0.1 to 0.9 ppm silver values. Upon receipt of all analytical results, selected samples containing elevated copper content will be analyzed for gold concentration.Mineral Zonation
DDH MM-02-2025 exhibits progressively higher temperature sulphide mineralization and associated alteration at increasing depth in the hole. The outer portion of the porphyry system is characterized by propylitic alteration containing variable concentrations of pyrite in the core interval 600-1,140m below surface. The "pyrite shell" is interpreted to have been intersected at an estimated depth of 1,140m associated with the transition to QSP alteration.The increase in copper content in DDH MM-02-2025 exhibits a crude correlation to transition from propylitic to QSP alteration (Figure-2). Typically, the outer copper enriched pyritic portion of a porphyry system contains low copper content in the order of 0.10%-0.20%. The central potassic core of a porphyry system at depth is typically enriched in bornite and chalcopyrite.The increase in molybdenum concentrations in DDH MM-02-2025 show a moderate correlation to the QSP/outer potassic zone. Porphyry copper systems typically exhibit a broad, annular molybdenum "halo" that extends outward and upward from the higher copper concentrations typically observed in the inner potassic zone.Vein Assemblages
The sulphide veins intersected in DDH MM-02-2025 displays with depth, the transition from the outer lower temperature propylitic (qtz-cal-hem veining) to the inner higher temperature potassic alteration overprinted by intense QSP alteration. The outer portion of the system exhibit abundant classic D veins (quartz- pyrite +/- chalcopyrite with distinct QSP envelopes). Chalcopyrite is the main copper sulphide with molybdenite and trace amounts of bornite appearing in the lower portions of the drillhole. The copper-molybdenum mineralization occurs primarily in quartz veins with subordinate amounts occurring on fractures and as disseminations in quartz vein alteration envelopes. The cross-cutting relationships of the veins indicate several episodes of mineralization and alteration. The upper 517m portion of DDH-02-2025 was completed using HQ rods before reducing to NQ diameter rods. Overall core recovery was estimated to be greater than 95%. After cutting with a diamond saw, one half of the core was collected for sample preparation and analysis, and the other half was retained onsite for future reference. Sample intervals selected do not cross lithological boundaries and ranged from 1.00 to 3.00m in length depending on the presence of Cu and/or Mo mineralization. Quality Control (QA/QC)
Copper Fox follows a rigorous Quality Assurance/Quality Control program. A total of 352 core samples were submitted as part of the drill core analysis including 11 split-core duplicates, 30 commercial certified reference material (CRM) standards, and 34 blanks. The matrix material of the CRM's matches the Mineral Mountain geology. All standards are certified for 4-acid digestion.Skyline Assayers and Laboratories Inc. (Accreditation 2953.01 and Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017) located in Tucson, Arizona completed the sample preparation and analysis for the Mineral Mountain samples. Samples were prepared using preparation code SP-1 - Crush to plus 75% -10 mesh, split and pulverize with standard steel to plus 95% -150 mesh. Analytical code TE-7 - was used for Trace Elements by Multi Acid (with HF), Ag, As, Hg, Sb, Se, Te concentrations were determined by Aqua Regia, ICP-OES/ICP-MS (49 elements).Qualified Person

The program was designed to further define the limits of total soluble copper ("TSCu") mineralization and the mineralogical domains within the Van Dyke copper deposit. The Van Dyke in-situ copper recovery ("ISCR") project is 100%-owned by Copper Fox and is located in the Globe-Miami Mining District, Gila County, Arizona.This news release reports analytical results for 18 drill holes, 15 of which returned intervals exceeding the TSCu cutoff of 0.025% (ASCu% + CNCu%) used in the 2020 mineral resource estimate ("MRE"). The analytical results of primary economic interest are acid soluble copper ("ASCu") and, to a lesser extent, cyanide soluble copper ("CNCu"). The analytical results and locations of the historical drill holes discussed in this news release are presented in Table 1 and Figure 1.The weighted average grades for the mineralized intervals presented in Table 1 were calculated using a 0.025% ASCu cutoff. Intervals containing ASCu values below the cutoff over lengths of five metres or less, (including missing samples), were included in the weighted average grade calculations. Overall, the 2026 sampling program was successful in filling analytical gaps, extending low-grade TSCu mineralization at depth, and improving the definition of the Oxide, Transitional and Sulphide mineralogical domain boundaries within the Van Dyke deposit.Hydrogeology Studies:The preliminary groundwater flow model for the Bloody Tanks Wash drainage basin is currently in the calibration stage. Early results have significantly improved the Company's understanding of the hydrogeological controls affecting the Van Dyke project and indicate that local groundwater flow may be influenced by historical mining activity in the Miami-Globe Mining District.Q1-2026 Ground water Monitoring:Results for the Q1-2026 monitoring data including field water quality parameters, water level measurements and analytical results are consistent with that observed in previous quarters. VWP data showed consistent responses with past quarters, with no seasonal patterns evident. Additional monitoring locations are planned in subsequent quarters to expand the water quality dataset and improve the understanding of groundwater flow and recharge dynamics for the Van Dyke project.Quality Control, Sampling and Analytical ProceduresCopper Fox follows a rigorous Quality Assurance/Quality Control program. Atrium will publish various research reports on Copper Fox based on publicly available information, industry data, and discussions with management. Atrium will also host two recorded interviews with Copper Fox's management team to present the investment case in an interview format. Analytical results from eleven drillholes have been received, eight of which returned intervals exceeding the TSCu cutoff (0.025%) used in the mineral resource estimate (MRE) update completed in 2020. Analytical ResultsAnalytical results for eight historical diamond drillholes from the Van Dyke project are reported in this news release. Analytical results from an additional 18 drillholes are pending. The analytical results of economic interest are acid soluble copper (ASCu) and cyanide soluble copper (CNCu). The TSCu (acid + cyanide soluble copper) cutoff grade used in the 2020 MRE was 0.025%. Analytical results received and locations of the sampled drill holes discussed in this news release are shown in Table-1 and Figure-1. The 3D geological block model and construction of the preliminary groundwater flow model for the Bloody Tanks drainage basin and the Van Dyke project have been completed. The 3D geological block model focussed on regional scale structures that may affect groundwater flow within the modelled area and forms the basis for advancing the groundwater flow modelling. Populating the groundwater flow model with all available hydrogeological data and calibration of the model to reflect the recorded data is underway. Hydrogeology and Groundwater Sampling
Two additional hydrogeology and groundwater sampling sites to measure hydrostatic changes and sampling for water quality purposes are expected to be on-line by the end of May 2026. The overlapping, mixed assemblages of early stage, high temperature chalcopyrite-bornite-molybdenite veins with early potassic and later sericitic envelopes and lower temperature pyrite-epidote-chlorite veins with sericitic and propylitic envelopes indicate the broad spectrum of hydrothermal temperature and oxidization conditions in an evolved porphyry copper system exhibiting several phases of copper and molybdenum mineralization and indications of hypogene enrichment. The Cu, Cu-Mo and Mo mineralization occurs in quartz veins with subordinate amounts in fractures and as disseminations in the alteration envelopes and surrounding wall rock. The angle to core axis measurement of the mineralized veins suggests the core of the porphyry is located to the east of DDH MM-01-2025.The drillhole intersected eight intervals of metal enrichment. Cu concentrations within these intervals range from 200 to 2,887 parts per million (ppm) (0.288%), Mo concentrations range from 5 to greater than 1,000 ppm (0.10%), and silver (Ag) concentrations range from 1 ppm to 18.2 ppm. Porphyritic medium grained biotite-hornblende granodiorite occurs from surface to a core depth of 348 meters (m). The interval from 348.57 to 377.2m consists of late-stage post mineralization intrusive dikes (earliest to latest) crowded dark Quartz-Feldspar porphyry and light green, weakly porphyritic Quartz Feldspar porphyry. Several thin porphyritic Quartz Feldspar porphyry dikes occur throughout the drillhole. The lower portion of the hole (377.2 to 847m) intersected fine grained biotite hornblende granodiorite underlain by a 5m thick hybrid zone marking the intrusive contact between a diorite and the PreCambrian age Pinal Schist. Analytical Results
Laramide age porphyry copper systems typically contain Cu-Mo-Ag and typically low concentrations of gold (Au). Table-1 shows the intervals of metal enrichment and the weighted average concentration of Cu-Mo and Ag for selected intervals from within the metal enrichment intervals. Figure-2 shows a schematic representation of the Cu and Mo concentrations in DDH MM-01-2025. Selected samples with variable Cu concentrations were submitted for Au analyses and returned Au values between 5 to 71 parts per billion (ppb). Cu and Au show a positive correlation whereas Mo exhibits a negative correlation with Au. Samples with greater than 1,000ppm Mo will be submitted for re-analyses to determine the actual Mo concentration. Between the intervals of metal enhancement, multiple, sporadic quartz-copper, quartz-copper-molybdenum and quartz-molybdenum veins occur. Sporadic quartz-pyrite veins and fracture-controlled pyrite occurs sporadically from 369 to 475m. The vein types observed in DDH MM-01-2025 include: qtz-kspar-cpy-bn, qtz-cpy-bn-mo, qtz-mo+/- py, qtz-cpy+/- epi, as well as qtz-mag, qtz-kspar-py, qtz-hem-cal, py +/-epi-chl. and discrete epidote and chlorite veinlets. The upper portion of DDH MM-01-2025 exhibits pervasive weak to moderate sericitic alteration that overprints sporadic, early stage kspar alteration. The core interval from 600 to 800m marks the interpreted outer edge of the propylitic alteration halo around the yet undrilled core of the porphyry system. Early-stage high temperature minerals include sporadic vein hosted scheelite and powellite mineralization. Late-stage mineralization includes moderate to intense calcium metasomatism shown by the presence of fluorescent red calcite. DDH MM-02-2025 Update
DDH MM-02-2025 is located approximately 1.3km northeast of DDH MM-01-2025 (see Figure-3) and is testing the northeast extension of the chargeability/resistivity anomaly outlined in 2024. The upper 396.83m portion of DDH-01-2025 was completed using HQ rods before reducing to NQ diameter rods. Overall core recovery was estimated to be greater than 95%. After cutting with a diamond saw, one half of the core was collected for sample preparation and analysis, and the other half was retained onsite for future reference. Sample intervals selected do not cross lithological boundaries and ranged from 1.00 to 3.00m in length depending on the presence of Cu and/or Mo mineralization. Quality Control (QA/QC)
Copper Fox follows a rigorous Quality Assurance/Quality Control program. A total of 396 core samples were submitted as part of the drill core analysis including 7 split-core duplicates, 17 commercial certified reference material (CRM) standards, and 34 blanks. The matrix material of the CRM's matches the Mineral Mountain geology. All standards are certified for 4-acid digestion.Skyline Assayers and Laboratories Inc. (Accreditation 2953.01 and Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017) located in Tucson Arizona completed the sample preparation and analysis for the Mineral Mountain samples. Samples were prepared using preparation code SP-1 - Crush to plus 75% -10 mesh, split and pulverize with standard steel to plus 95% -150 mesh. The semi-regional 3-D numerical groundwater flow modelling to assess the groundwater flow within the Bloody Tanks Wash drainage basin and its effect on the groundwater within the Van Dyke project along with hydrogeology monitoring and sampling to detect changes in water quality continue. During the Quarter, the first ever drilling program on the large Laramide age porphyry target at Mineral Mountain commenced. The project is located on a prolific copper trend in Arizona, approximately 25km southwest of the giant Resolution porphyry copper deposit and 20km northeast of the Florence ISCR deposit. The geotechnical review included a comprehensive assessment of the geotechnical and hydrological data related to the pit slope stability and potential rock storage locations for the Schaft Creek project. The 2025 geotechnical review included the data collected between 2008-2025 and concluded that the geotechnical investigations conducted in 2023 and 2024 are considered appropriate for advanced scoping-level designs. The review recommended a "gap analysis" to identify areas for further investigation and that future studies should incorporate additional geotechnical and hydrogeological drilling and rock mechanics laboratory testing to expand the structural, geomechanical, and hydrogeological databases. The review also recommended future programs would be required to meet current industry expectations (for data density and coverage of the proposed ultimate pit) for prefeasibility-level geotechnical design. The gap analysis is expected to identify how to most efficiently and effectively augment the existing databases to either assist in validating existing designs or provide a rationalization for modifying the design criteria. Updated and refined geotechnical and hydrogeological models will be required to support more detailed and sophisticated slope stability analyses.The 2025 geotechnical review also included the historical and current geotechnical and drilling data from within or in proximity to the four potential Rock Storage Facilities ("RSF") locations for the Schaft Creek project. The review identified significant challenges due to potential adverse foundation conditions and natural geohazards in portions of the proposed RSF footprints and concluded that the proposed locations are not considered to have been assessed sufficiently to inform beyond scoping level studies. The review concluded that supplemental field investigations are required for the RSF areas and recommended a program that includes test pits, drilling and laboratory testing of recovered samples for assessing the suitability of each location for waste rock storage. This review covered the baseline meteorological and climate data collected since 2005 in the Schaft Creek area. The study was completed by Tahltan ERM Environmental Management and focussed on predicting precipitation levels at the Schaft Creek site and at various elevations along proposed access roads. The meteorological data forms part of an environmental baseline monitoring program to characterize existing meteorological and climate conditions to assess potential impacts on project development to satisfy provincial monitoring requirements for Environmental Assessments (EA) and permitting processes. The primary purpose of the baseline glacier monitoring is to characterize existing glacial conditions to assess potential effects of sources of water on resource development in the Schaft Creek project area. The area around Schaft Creek is heavily glaciated and the impact of glacier mass balance, in terms of glacier dynamics and glacial water contribution to streamflow is an important variable to understand as part of the hydrological assessment of the Schaft Creek area. Hydrometric monitoring is used to characterize surface water resources and assess potential effects of resource development on waterbodies and provides baseline data for subsequent water quantity and water quality modelling and provides data for other parameters such as dilution and runoff modelling and in-stream flow estimates. The overall objectives of a baseline hydrogeology study are to provide calibration data for the development of integrated mine site water balances and understanding the regional hydrogeologic conditions. The 2025 hydrogeological monitoring program measured the groundwater flow conditions and K values (hydraulic conductivity) for each lithologic unit. The 2025 data is consistent with historic data across most monitoring wells and improved confidence in the conceptual hydrogeological model developed for the Schaft Creek project area. The SCJVA stipulates that Teck are required to make the first C$60 million in Pre-Production Costs. The SCJVA also stipulates that Teck are also required to make three C$20 million Milestone Payments to Copper Fox, the first C$20 million was received upon signing of the SCJVA leaving two remaining Milestone Payments. As Pre-Production Costs have exceeded the C$60 million threshold covered by Teck the Pre-Production Costs going forward will be shared pro-rata with Copper Fox (75:25). As at December 31, 2025, Copper Fox's pro rata share of the Pre-Production Costs over C$60 million, ~ C$7.5 million, will be deducted from the third C$20 million Milestone Payment. At Van Dyke, our focus in the first half of 2026 is completing an updated PEA to provide a technical and economic assessment of the project and continuing hydrogeologic activities to support future permitting activities. The planned PEA is expected to benefit from the publicly available information from the recently commissioned Florence ISCR project, further optimize the PFS Execution Plan and establish a starting point for the transition to PFS level studies. A significant achievement in 2025 was the execution of non-binding Letters of Intent to obtain industrial water for leaching purposes and the offtake of the rock excavated from the proposed underground development demonstrates the strong community support for the project. At Mineral Mountain, drilling of the large porphyry copper "footprint" underlain by a buried positive chargeability anomaly of almost equal size is underway. The location, size and telescoped porphyry characteristics support the copper potential of this target. Our focus is on completing the current drilling program, compiling all data and assessing the merits of a follow-up drilling program in the first half of 2026. At Eaglehead, the significantly expanded dimensions of the chargeability anomaly within the "mineralized corridor" augmented the porphyry potential of the project. Further exploration at Eaglehead is contingent on obtaining a Multi-Year Area Based permit before the end of June 2026. The resource base, the preliminary metallurgical testwork, and potential to combine the Bornite and East deposits into one larger deposit could substantially increase the project's metal balance but also suggests the project is rapidly advancing toward the PEA stage, a significant milestone for the project. At Sombrero Butte, 2025 was a transformational year in understanding the porphyry copper potential of this project. Exploration results suggest the presence of a large, highly evolved porphyry copper system underlain by a large body of anomalous chargeability/resistivity. Schaft Creek Joint Venture:

Teck Resources Limited ("Teck") as operator of the Schaft Creek Joint Venture has recommended a comprehensive series of studies to review all aspects (including metallurgical, pit slope design, geological modelling and environmental) of the Schaft Creek project. The objective is to review all data collected on the Schaft Creek project to the end of 2013 to update and optimize various parameters of the project. The studies will be conducted internally by Teck and outside consultants will be retained if and when necessary.

The 2014 program also has a field program planned of mapping and re-logging core to obtain a better structural understanding of the Schaft Creek deposit for pit slope design purposes. Environmental monitoring studies will continue through 2014. The 2014 program is estimated to cost approximately $2.5 million.

Copper Fox Metals Inc. (TSXV: CUU) says it has a joint venture partnership with Teck Resources Ltd. involving the Schaft Creek project, located in northwestern British Columbia, Canada. Copper Fox says the agreement replaces and supersedes the 2002 option and joint venture agreement between Teck and Copper Fox in connection with Schaft Creek. Copper Fox says Teck will divide a $60 million payment in three equal parts upon signing the Schaft Creek joint venture, upon a production decision and completion of the mine facility. “This agreement gives Copper Fox immediate access to funds and a viable partner to continue the work we have done on the Schaft Creek property without diluting Copper Fox’s 25% interest in the Schaft Creek joint venture, “ says Elmer Stewart, president and chief executive officer of Copper Fox. “With Teck’s agreement to fund future costs, we have reduced the uncertainty around Copper Fox’s future expenditures for the project.” A 10,000 meter drill program will begin before the end of July 2013, the company says.

Copper Fox Completes Land Acquisitions Covering Positive Magnetic Lineament at Schaft Creek Property

Vancouver, British Columbia -- March 27, 2012 -- Mr. Elmer Stewart, President and CEO of Copper Fox Metals Inc. ("Copper Fox" or the "Company") (TSX-V: CUU) announced the acquisition of two groups of mineral tenures. One group is located adjacent the Schaft Creek project and the second group is located in the Mess Creek area. Mr. Stewart stated "the purpose for the acquisition of these mineral claims is to provide additional coverage of the interpreted extension of the Schaft Creek mineral trend and its associated positive magnetic feature. The second group of claims expands the Company's acreage in this important mining district and road access".

Highlights:

Group one -- (Marko/Mott) Approximately 4,741 hectares (24 mineral tenures) contiguous to the north and south of the Schaft Creek project have been acquired. These mineral tenures cover the extension of the positive magnetic lineament outlined in 2011 that show a strong correlation to the Schaft Creek deposit and two other zones of copper-gold-molybdenum-silver mineralization exposed on surface. These mineral tenures are subject to the Option Agreement with Teck Resources Limited ("Teck"), and
Group two -- (Ruzo) Approximately 700 hectares (2 mineral tenures) in the Mess Creek area. These mineral tenures are not subject to the Option Agreement with Teck.

Rationale for the Mineral Tenure Acquisitions:

The Marko/Mott mineral claims are located along strike of the interpreted Schaft Creek Mineral Trend and the positive magnetic lineament located by the high resolution airborne magnetic survey completed by Copper Fox earlier in 2011. The historical exploration data on both groups of land packages shows the presence of elevated concentrations of copper both in soil and in rock samples. The work completed by Copper Fox in 2011 suggests that the positive magnetic feature may represent the main structure that controls the location of the mineralization within the Schaft Creek project.

Mineral Tenure Acquisitions:
Details of the transactions are provided below and the Purchase Agreements will be filed on SEDAR.

Marko/Mott Acquisition:
The two mineral claim blocks (consisting of 24 mineral tenures totaling 4,741.55 hectares) from Randy Marko and Paul Mott ("Marko/Mott") are contiguous to the Company's Schaft Creek project. Consideration paid by Copper Fox was $25,000 cash and a 2% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on the mineral claims subject to a "Partial NSR Buyout Option". The Partial NSR Buyout Option allows Copper Fox at any time to purchase half of the NSR for a cash payment of $1.0 million such that the NSR is reduced from 2% to 1%.

Ruzo Acquisition:
The two mineral tenures totaling 700.52 hectares located east of the Mess Creek mineral claims held by Copper Fox were purchased from V. Ruzo. These mineral tenures are not subject to the Option Agreement with Teck. Consideration paid by Copper Fox was $7,000 cash and a 1% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on the mineral tenures. The NSR Buyout Option allows Copper Fox at any time to purchase the NSR for a cash payment of $0.25 million.

Vancouver, British Columbia -- September 6, 2011. Copper Fox Metals Inc. ("Copper Fox" or the "Company") (TSX-V: CUU) applauds the recent announcement that BC Hydro has awarded the design and construction contract for the Northwest Transmission Line (NTL) project. This decision compliments and completes the granting, by the Provincial Environmental Assessment Office on February 24, 2011, of an environmental certificate for the extension of the power grid to the so called Golden Triangle area located in North Western British Columbia.

Elmer B. Stewart President and CEO of CopperFox stated, "The completionof the resource estimate is a great milestone for Copper Fox. Ourprimary objective now is to complete the feasibility study for theSchaft Creek project as soon as possible. The strategy for the resourceestimate was to eliminate areas of very low grade mineralization andtherefore reduce grade smoothing. The updated resource estimate showsthat the average metal grades for the deposit remain relativelyconstant up to a 0.25% copper equivalent cut-off, above which the tonnes decrease significantly with a corresponding increase in theaverage metal grades. The 2011 drilling program is focusing on thehigher-grade mineralization intersected in the Paramount zone in 2010with the objective of defining a higher-grade "starter pit" andincreasing the tonnage and average grade of the metals in this zone.Copper Fox expects to complete a resource estimate update for this zoneafter completion of the 2011 drilling program."

Base Case:Copper Fox has selected the 0.20% copper equivalent ("Cu Eq.") cut-offfor its base case resource estimate. A 0.12% Cu Eq. cut-off was theminimum grade of copper equivalent estimated by AMEC required (usingthe estimated copper recovery rate, the milling and sales cost) tobreak-even on an operating cost per tonne basis. In adopting a moreconservative approach to optimize the economics, Copper Fox hasselected a higher cut-off grade to increase the average copper gradeper tonne while reducing tonnage.


All in context of the NR: Tonnes decrease but grades go higher well ok and they are using a 8% higher cut-off of course the M&I will reflect that as Elmer states..."to therefore reduce grade smoothing" pretty honest stuff

I added back a few shares I sold at 2.23 in April. Missed the low of day, but if it gets back to the 1.50 area I would likely add a few more.

Copper Fox Commences 2011 Drilling Program, Updates Other Activities at Schaft Creek, Tuesday, May 31, 2011

Vancouver, British Columbia - May 31, 2011. ("Copper Fox" or the "Company") (TSX-V: CUU) is pleased to announce that diamond drilling of DDH CF407-2011 at Copper Fox's 100% owned Schaft Creek copper-gold-molybdenum-silver porphyry deposit located in northwest British Columbia has commenced. This hole is designed to test the eastern extension of the large chargeability anomaly associated with the zone of higher-grade mineralization intersected in 2010. An update on the progress of the resource estimate and airborne magnetic survey is also provided.

Highlights:

a) Diamond drill hole ("DDH") CF407-2011 is underway and is located on the same site as DDH CF406-2010. A second diamond drill is expected to arrive at Schaft Creek by mid June 2011,

b) The primary objective of the 2011 drilling program is to test at depth a 1,200m long by 600m wide portion of the large chargeability anomaly associated with the higher-grade mineralization located in 2010 and test the ES and GK zones of mineralization that are on the recently acquired lands located immediately north of the Schaft Creek deposit,

c) Completion of the high resolution aeromagnetic survey of the Schaft Creek project has been delayed due to adverse weather conditions. The survey is approximately 60% complete and results of this survey will be announced upon receipt of the surveyor's reports following completion, and

d) AMEC are working toward delivery of the updated resource estimation. The receipt of this report is expected shortly.

Elmer B. Stewart President and CEO of Copper Fox stated that "Our first priority for 2011 is to complete the feasibility study on the Schaft Creek deposit and to do this we must first receive the updated resource estimation. The delay in receiving this report has been frustrating but resource estimations are complex in-depth studies especially when dealing with a substantial amount of legacy data such as at Schaft Creek. I am confident that this report will be completed soon and we can then move quickly to complete the feasibility study. The delay in completing the airborne magnetic survey is a function of the weather conditions around Schaft Creek but has not affected the other portions of the 2011 program. I am pleased that we re-started the testing of the extensions of the large chargeability anomaly associated with the higher-grade mineralization located in 2010. This anomaly is interpreted to have the best potential to substantially expand the limits of the mineralization in the Schaft Creek deposit".

Diamond Drilling Program:
The drilling of DDH CF407-2011 has commenced. This hole is collared on the same site as DDH CF406-2010 but is being drilled at a steeper angle and has a minimum target depth of 800m. The final depth of this hole will be determined based on observation of the core as drilling progresses. The objectives of the 8,000m diamond drilling program are to:

a) test the lateral and depth extensions of the large chargeability anomaly associated with higher-grade mineralization located in 2010,
b) subject to the results of the planned Titan-24 survey, diamond drill test the ES and GK zones of mineralization that are located on the recently acquired lands, and
c) diamond drill test the large chargeability anomaly located north of the Paramount zone.

A second drill is expected to arrive at Schaft Creek in mid June. Depending on snow conditions, this drill may be used to test the separate large chargeability anomaly located north of the Paramount Zone. The 2011 drilling program has been modified slightly to allow testing of the western wall of the proposed starter pit. The majority of the drilling is dedicated to testing the strike, depth and eastern extension of the large chargeability anomaly associated with the higher-grade mineralization located in 2010. Contingent on the results of the drilling of the chargeability anomaly, the size of the 2011 drilling program may be expanded by increasing the metres to be drilled and adding a third diamond drill to the program.

Airborne Geophysical Survey:
Adverse weather conditions have contributed to a lower than expected number of kilometers that can be flown in a day. This decrease in daily productivity has increased the number of days required to complete the high resolution airborne magnetic survey over the Schaft Creek project. This delay does not affect the other activities associated with the 2011 program. The survey is approximately 60% complete and due to improving weather conditions the survey is expected to be completed within 10 days assuming good weather conditions.
