Aurora Spine Appoints Regional Vice President of Sales

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA--(Marketwired - May 9, 2014) - Aurora Spine Corporation (TSX-VENTURE:ASG) announced today the appointment of Doug Johnson as Regional Vice President of Sales for the Eastern United States. Mr. Johnson will be responsible for Aurora's Eastern United States sales efforts. Under Mr. Johnson's leadership, the Aurora sales team expects to strengthen its presence in the U.S. East Coast market.

Prior to joining Aurora, Mr. Johnson served as the Area Vice President East / Director of Business development for Life Spine, leading 9 direct sales managers along with 28 agencies. Mr. Johnson has served in management roles for various spine and orthopedic companies such as TranS1, Pioneer Surgical Technology and SomnoMed Inc. and has over 15 years of sales experience.
