RICHMOND, Va., July 15,
2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Markel, the insurance operations
within Markel Group Inc. (NYSE: MKL), announced today that
Rob Cole has joined Markel as Chief
Actuarial Officer.
Cole brings extensive leadership and industry experience to
Markel. He spent the past 24 years at AIG, where his most recent
role was Chief Actuary, Global Pricing. Throughout his career, he
has held multiple leadership roles both domestically and in the UK,
supporting pricing and reserving disciplines across a wide range of
products.

Rob will succeed Ron Herrig, who
will be retiring at the end of 2024 after a successful 28-year
career with Markel.
