$2.50 Special Dividend !!!

I should have been paying attention to this. People don't seem to understand how dividends work. The day FF announced the dividend the price dropped over $2. Then looks like the dim wits realized their error, then the price went up $5 in the next week. Then dropped back down again $5 right after the Ex-Date.

Didn't really really catch on the insanity until I read an article today that today looks like a great time to buy FF (in my watch list), because of this drop. After reading I examined more closely. NO, it's not a good time. The $ is exactly where it should be.

A company declaring a dividend does not increase the value of the stock. The price should drop; at the EX-DATE. If you took the price before the insanity and reduced by the dividend, that's the price it is no. That's not a bargain; that's effectively the value it's been trading at.

What a piece of crap company Future Fuel is. Everything energy/oil related is booming and this bio-pig is trading in the red. $FF is a loser.

P&G had planned to terminate the NOBS supply deal effective at year-end, but FF says the arrangement has been reinstated on amended terms, providing for sales to PG in reduced volumes with adjusted pricing during 2015-18 to account for revised market conditions.

Roth Capital upgrades shares to Buy from Neutral with a $13 price target, as the deal renewal raises visibility for 2016, and drives cash flows and earnings during periods of biodiesel profit uncertainty.

Lee Mikles discloses he bought over 11.4K FutureFuel (NYSE:FF) shares last week at $9.44 and $9.68. Donald Bedell discloses he bought 5K shares at $9.67.

FutureFuel Is A Rare Biofuels And Bioproducts Cash Cow

FutureFuel Corp. (FF) is an independent producer of biodiesel and specialty chemicals. The company has benefited recently from strong biodiesel margins specifically and an improved biofuel operating environment more generally, and its share price has increased by 65% over the last twelve months (see figure). It handily beat both earnings and revenue estimates in Q1 and Q2 of 2013. This recent performance has followed several years of growth, and FutureFuel is one of the few biofuel producers to have gone public since 2008 that is currently trading above its IPO price (the other notable example being Renewable Energy Group (REGI)).

SPECIAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCED!!!!!!!!

CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) -- Biofuel and specialty chemical maker FutureFuel Corp. on Wednesday declared a special cash dividend of $1.20 on its common stock.

The dividend will be paid on Dec. 17 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 3. The company also will pay its regular quarterly dividend of 10 cents on the same day.

Clayton, Mo.-based FutureFuel said it also plans to pay normal quarterly dividends of 11 cents on March 15, June 17, Sept. 17 and Dec. 16.
