I wonder why a company like Carpenter Technology Corporation has never taken a look at Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc.

In the meantime, it looks like some key executives are selling the stock at the highs.

Carpenter Technology Corporation (Carpenter) is engaged in the manufacturing, fabrication and distribution of specialty metals. It has two segments: Advanced Metals Operations and Premium Alloys Operations. It develops, manufactures and distributes cast/wrought and powder metal stainless steels and special alloys, including high-temperature alloys, controlled expansion alloys, tool and die steels and other specialty metals, as well as cast/wrought titanium alloys. In January 2011, it acquired Amega West Services, LLC. In June 2011, it acquired Oilfield Alloys Pte. Ltd. In February 2012, it acquired Latrobe Specialty Metals, Inc.
