People don't seem to understand the magnitude of Yesterdays announcement! This could be stupendous !
There are over 45,000,000 Americans over the age of 60 who are likely candidates for this drug as they age!

So MYOS put out a press release this morning saying that a recent study indicated 18% improved muscle protein synthesis. They go on to hint that their product could be used in treating muscle loss in covid patients, which they point out is a factor in patient survival. We'll see if this causes any rise in MYOS today.

I'm thinking here. MedAvail is not a public company but it seems they have a very lucrative business model. Question is, what are they worth on paper? If this is a merger, I'm assuming MedAvail's value will be factored into the MYOS share price. Am I mistaken?


For example, if MedAvail is worth say $500M or even $1B, I wonder how that amount should reflect on the current pps? My TD account says MYOS has 11 Million shares in the O/S. Hmmmmmmmmmm

MYOS RENS Up 32% After Hours on Merger and Spin-Out Plan

MYOS RENS Technology Inc. shares rose 32% to $1.17 after hours as the nutrition products company said it will merge with pharmacy organization MedAvail Inc. and spin out the MYOS muscle health business as a separate company.

MedAvail will pay the spun-out business $2 million in cash upon the closing of the merger and issue a promissory note for an additional $3 million.

MYOS owns Fortetropin, which helps build lean muscle.
