(NASDAQ: INVZ) (the "Company" or "Innoviz"), a leading Tier-1 direct supplier of high-performance, automotive-grade LiDAR sensors and perception software, today announced a multi-year NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering services) payment plan of approx. $80 million with key existing customers which is expected to bolster the Company's financial position. NREs are expected to be paid between 2025 and 2027, of which over $40 million are expected to be paid in 2025 with further amounts expected in 2026 and 2027. These payments will be incremental to revenues generated from ongoing sales of LiDAR products based on existing and new orders coming from new programs.

Mobileye, which closed its LiDAR unit in September, will now integrate Innoviz's solution into its systems.

Israeli laser (LiDAR) sensor developer Innoviz Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: INVZ) saw its share price jump 28.1% on Wall Street on Thursday and Friday and 36% during the entire week. The sharp rise came after the Rosh Ha'ayin-based company, led by CEO and cofounder Omer Keilaf, announced that Israeli advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) company Mobileye Global Inc. (Nasdaq: MBLY) would integrate Innoviz's solutions into its systems.

Innoviz Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:INVZ) jumped 27.0% in morning trading on Thursday, a day after Mobileye Global (MBLY) announced that it would integrate Innoviz LiDARs into its autonomous vehicle platform for testing and deployment with key customers.

The Mobileye Drive Platform is expected to empower a full suite of solutions, from Robotaxi, shuttles, public transport, ride pooling and autonomous guided vehicles.

CEO Omer Keilaf said the collaboration with Mobileye (MBLY) on next-generation autonomous vehicle solutions that are both safer and more affordable signifies the shared commitment to accelerate AV adoption. "The agreement further attests to Innoviz's capability to meet the stringent requirements of OEMs worldwide and support L4 driving solutions that will help drive a new era of mobility," added Keilaf.

With the delayed rally, the LiDAR stock came within a penny of trading at $1.00 or higher for the first time since June.

"In the third quarter we continued to see success in both revenue and cash performance, delivering revenues above the midpoint of our guidance range while again decreasing cash burn through our operational discipline," said Omer Keilaf, CEO and Co-Founder of Innoviz. "On the commercial side, we strengthened our partnership with the Level 4 platform provider announced during the quarter. We are now supporting several different OEM programs on the Level 4 platform with the expected integration of nine of our long- and short-range LiDARs into each autonomous vehicle. This collaboration with a well-known platform provider has the potential to offer significant revenue growth and strong volumes for Innoviz, with opportunity for more OEMs to come onto the platform. Commercial and Strategic Updates

Entered two new OEM programs through agreement reached with leading global Level 4 platform partner – During the third quarter, the Company began working with two new OEMs which have adopted the platform. Innoviz is expected to provide a bundle of nine InnovizTwo short- and long-range LiDARs per vehicle. Start of Production ("SOP") is expected in 2026. The Company expects new OEM collaborations to arise through the platform partnership which has the potential to offer significant revenue growth and favorable volumes for Innoviz.
Progressed programs with Volkswagen Group – Innoviz continued to progress its partnerships with Volkswagen Group on existing programs including the Cariad Level 3 program, Mobileye Chauffeur and ID. Buzz Level 4 light commercial vehicle program incorporating Mobileye Drive. Innoviz passed various industrialization and development audits during the quarter and expects to meet the scheduled timelines for LiDAR SOP.
ID. Buzz to be deployed in Hamburg, Germany in 2025 – MOIA recently announced that starting in mid-2025 it will deploy the ID. Buzz in Hamburg, Germany as part of Project ALIKE, a project to test autonomous on-demand ridepooling in the city. The project's aims are to make autonomous mobility accessible, to test a new form of service and to expand Hamburg's public transit system. ID. Buzz testing by Volkswagen ADMT remains ongoing in Austin, Texas.
Continued to advance potential new programs with notable OEMs – Innoviz further advanced its pipeline of RFIs and RFQs. Of the more than 15 programs in the pipeline, approximately 50% are in the RFQ stage. In particular, Innoviz advanced in the RFQ processes with notable OEMs, including several top ten automotive OEMs. Winning these programs could generate strong NRE revenues for Innoviz in the coming years as well as meaningful long-term LiDAR sales volumes. These potential customers include but are not limited to:
- A top ten OEM with which Innoviz has agreed on the technical specifications of a program. The RFQ is in the latter stages which include advanced legal discussions, and Innoviz has successfully completed production related audits;
- Leading top ten North American OEMs, which include Level 3 and Level 4 programs. Innoviz has successfully completed LiDAR technical and commercial assessments. Across these opportunities, Innoviz is expected to provide InnovizTwo LiDARs, its compute box and advanced AI perception software, which on certain programs would be customized to meet the respective platform's specifications. Innoviz expects to begin receiving decisions related to these programs in the coming months.

Third Quarter 2024 Financial Results

Revenues in Q3 2024 were $4.5 million, compared to revenues of $3.5 million in Q3 2023.

Operating Expenses in Q3 2024 were $26.0 million, a decrease of 6.4% from $27.8 million in Q3 2023. Operating expenses for Q3 2024 included $4.2 million of share-based compensation compared to $5.0 million in Q3 2023. In Q3 2024, Innoviz drove sequentially decreased cash burn with cash used in operations and capital expenditures of $17.7 million compared to $28.6 million in Q3 2023 and to $21.6 million in Q2 2024.

Liquidity as of September 30, 2024, was approximately $87.7 million, consisting of cash and cash equivalents, bank deposits, marketable securities and short-term restricted cash.

FY 2024 Financial Targets

The Company expects full year 2024 revenues in the range of $23.5 million to $25 million, compared to $20.9 million for full year 2023.

FY 2024 Operational Targets

With its collaboration with a leading Level 4 platform partner (as described above), the Company met its commercial target of securing 2-3 additional customer programs in 2024. Innoviz hopes to provide more details before the end of the year. The Company reiterates its operational target of securing $20 to $70 million of new NRE bookings.

JERUSALEM, NOVEMBER 6 — Lyft, Inc. (Nasdaq: LYFT), one of the largest transportation networks in North America, and Mobileye (Nasdaq: MBLY), a leading provider of self-driving technology and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), announced today plans for an alliance that aims to facilitate the widespread commercialization of autonomous vehicles' services by industry-leading fleet operators.

Using the latest advancements in AI for autonomy, Mobileye provides AV technology to an ecosystem of purpose-built vehicle manufacturers, who integrate Mobileye’s AV technology in AV-ready vehicles for purchase by vehicle fleet operators and transportation service providers. The alliance of Lyft and Mobileye intends to leverage Lyft’s network of 40 million annual riders and exceptional reputation as a leading transportation network in North America to provide a seamless demand platform for Mobileye Drive™-based AV fleets.

The objective is for future AV operators who want to deploy and manage large-scale fleets in various metropolitan areas in North America to purchase Mobileye Drive equipped, “Lyft-ready” vehicles from vehicle builders, access Lyft’s rider demand and optimize utilization and profitability of their fleets.

The companies also plan to utilize Mobileye’s new cloud-based AV demand technology, which connects Mobileye Drive-equipped vehicles with AV fleet operators. Through Mobileye’s turnkey AV ecosystem and Lyft’s suite of AV Partner APIs, fleets of AVs are expected to be monetized, giving Lyft users faster and broader availability of AVs.
