It's all over but the shouting. A cash merger of $2.41 per share is going to take the company private. Some of you had a decade invested here. When you are out looking for the next biotech opportunity, keep an eye out to see if the old Aptose team is involved....

Okay...I'll throw in one final entry. Just like the development of a single treatment for TUS, Aptose is now playing the dosage game with , what I call, the "Trio Trial". A new Phase I/II trial at 160 mg is going to enroll......instead of pushing the highest lower dose through to Phase III and an NDA. Once a first treatment gets approved, that success can propel a company to gather a regulatory audience for testing subsequent doses. Anyone want to venture a guess as to when a final review might take place? 2035 maybe?

Talk about the next reverse split! The stock is at .95, and this morning's headlines referred to a missing interest payment to a pharma creditor. UGH.

Well....I have had six entries in the past 3 1/2 months. I guess I'm about through here. My 3-5-25 entry was somewhat tongue-in-cheek.......but then the company announces yet ANOTHER reverse split at the abbreviated annual meeting. No date or amount given....but it could be from a 1 for 2 to a 1 for 20. The company's accountants bailed. One might wonder why. Anywhoooo.......it's time to move on. I'll keep an eye on it from time to time, but I am not going to bother you all with my concerns over this outfit.

$1.68 The short/intermediate term issue is that there doesn't seem to be any catalyst to drive this stock forward until the "partners" actually settle on a dosage, expand the Phase 1/2 trial to cover enough people to make it meaningful, and somehow decide that enough is enough and apply for Phase III. Does anyone want to guess on a timeframe?

An April 17 close of $1.97 and this morning at $2.20.

Wow.......$2.67. This thing might be ready for a "buy" after the next reverse split. There won't be much stock left.

So....in three days post split the stock has dropped from $3.64 to $3.09.

You'll notice that recent announcements have NOT propelled the stock upward. Reverse splits are not dilutive, but new stock offerings, to the public or as a private placement, are dilutive because they do affect the percentage of ownership for each shareholder. The product results news has been positive so far, but it will take administering the product to many more patients just to get out of Phase 1/2 and into Phase 3. I assume these stock offerings will be made post-split.

Three patients with unmutated (wildtype) FLT3 (FLT3-WT) completed Cycle 1 of treatment with no dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) and no dose adjustments.

Two FLT3-WT patients achieved complete remissions (CR and CRh) by the end of Cycle 1.

Notably, a patient with biallelic TP53 mutations and a complex karyotype obtained CR.

The third FLT3-WT patient experienced significant reductions in bone marrow leukemic blasts during Cycle 1 and remains on therapy in Cycle 2.

Okay, everyone. The company basically has three months to get its act together and retain its NASDAQ listing. No revenues are projected for 2025. These new collaborations are going to take time to develop. The last time the company had to scramble to retain its NASDAQ listing, what did it have to do? A reverse split. The company hasn't even been able to find its own way to Phase !!! testing with Tus....let alone Lux. So....what is it going to have to do again....unless its gets some blockbuster FDA news by March 31? Another reverse split. This day has been coming since the last reverse split was done.
