Treasury shares

On 6 December 2016, the Company transferred to a participant in the ICAP plc Senior Executive Equity Participation Plan 3,149 ordinary shares at an exercise cost of GBP1.00. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.

Following the above transactions, the Company holds 11,855,501 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 652,681,505 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
