                              Pre Close Statement


Hyder Consulting, the international infrastructure and property full-service
consultancy, expects to announce on 26 November its interim results for the
period ending 30 September 2007.


Overall, trading is well ahead of last year, and slightly ahead of expectations,
reflecting strong market conditions. The outlook remains positive, particularly
in the Middle East, and our order book is at record levels.


Our operating margins have increased through our strategy of targeted sales and
infill acquisitions, and by growing our advisory business. Our acquisitions
pipeline remains strong and a number are being actively pursued.
