EXERCISE OF OPTIONS


Electronic Data Processing PLC ("the Company") announces that on 6 March 2007 it
issued and allotted 30,000 ordinary shares of 5p each ("the New Shares") to
Peter Davey, a director of the Company, pursuant to the exercise of share
options.  The options were exercised at 40p per share, Mr. Davey now has an
interest in 0.14 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

Application will be made for the shares to be admitted to the Official List of
the United Kingdom Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for
admission to trading.  It is expected that dealings in the new shares will
commence on 14 March 2007.
