Eco-Conscious Design Salutes Athlete's Championing of Green
Initiatives FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Oakley,
Inc. today announced the release of Bob Burnquist Gascan(R)
eyewear. A special rendition in the coveted Oakley Gascan line, the
new eco-conscious design honors the namesake athlete's support of
Green initiatives in environmental awareness. A portion of the
proceeds from sales will go to the Action Sports Environmental
Coalition (ASEC), an organization co-founded by Burnquist in 2001.

materials from the manufacture of other eyewear. A sustainable
natural fiber that is fully biodegradable, 100% certified organic
bamboo is used to make the included storage bag. Icons that accent
the frame are also made of bamboo, and Oakley is using recycled
materials and eco-friendly inks for packaging. With its clean,
