Exclusive, 1960s-Style Chair Commemorates 50th Anniversary of the
Playboy Clubs CHICAGO, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Playboy
Enterprises, Inc. (PEI) (NYSE:PLANYSE:PLAA) announced it has
partnered with Mad Men star and interior designer Bryan Batt to
create "The Hef," a limited-edition loveseat designed to
commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Playboy Clubs. Hand signed

Mad Men and a one-of-a-kind Playboy piece by Bryan Batt to
celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Playboy Clubs seemed like a
natural," said Hefner. "The loveseat brings back memories of the
early 1960s, a time when Playboy solidified its place in American
culture, in part with the introduction of the Playboy Clubs." The
loveseat, designed by Batt and manufactured by Brownstone
furniture, was unveiled yesterday at the Las Vegas Market trade
show at World Market Center (Showroom A100); Batt and several
Playboy Club Bunnies were onsite at the launch event. "The Hef"
will remain on display for the duration of the show (February 1-5,
2010). "The inspiration for this piece came from a 1960s photograph
from the original Playboy mansion in Chicago," said designer Bryan
Batt. "The design of the loveseat speaks to the sensibility of a
time when suits and sexy were au courant." "The Hef," which is made
with luxury materials such as grey mohair upholstery, nail head
detailing and rosewood side panels, will be in limited production,
with only 50 pieces available for sale. This exclusive collectors'
item will retail through http://www.hazelnutneworleans.com/ for
$15,000. For more information on "The Hef" please visit the website
of Batt's New Orleans store, http://www.hazelnutneworleans.com/.
