MONTREAL, QC, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tuesday, September 6, 2005, Dectron Internationale (NASDAQ: DECT & TSX: DTL) announced that it has signed a "Research Partnership Agreement" with Concordia University, a leading Canadian Educational and Research Institution. The objective of this collaboration with Concordia's Indoor Environment Group of the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, is to develop unique air filtration and purification technologies for use in Dectron's Indoor Air Security(TM) Program. Commenting on this partnership, Mr. Brian Monk, P.Eng, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, stated: "On-going research and product development is essential for Dectron Internationale. The research partnership was also endorsed by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and it will contribute equally to the study as a third partner. The study will span over a 3-year period. The research and development process will take place at Concordia's new Science and Engineering Building in downtown Montreal.
