I agree. $5/share will probably look like a steal 3 years from now. Actually it probably will long before that when they start trading publicly, I'd guess about 6-9 months before opening date and somewhere around $35/share.
I am not ready to tie up $25k for 3 years. I am better off using that money to make money. Then when they go public, I will just have to pay the going price. At any rate, this project is so awesome, that if Matt succeeds in making it happen it will be unlike anything Las Vegas has ever seen. It's bound to be an instant money-maker. Move over, Steve Wynn!
Thanks for the post, surfbum. You did better than I did when I first heard of the project. I did not even get a reply to my email. Does anybody know what he means by "accredited?"

I got an e-mail from Matt today.......
here it is
Hi XXXX,
It always pleases me when someone is interested enough in my company to reach out to me directly. J
To answer your question/s:
It is true that our intention is to go public in the future; however, we are not publicly traded now. Currently; the only way to own any stock in our company is if you were to buy from a small private placement (501 reg a) which we use for "friends and family". We sell our common stock for $5.00 per share, we are capitalized with 100 million shares, and we have issued (including 100% of my personal ownership) 24,700,000 shares.
If a portion of our private placement interests you, be advised that you must be accredited, and our minimum is $25,000.00.
With all of the above being said, if you would still like to investigate further, I encourage you to call or e-mail me directly as I am the one and only person who have sold our stock to the 174 individual investors we have . I have no intention to stop that habit now. J
I shall look forward to hearing from you at your convenience.
Kindest regards,
Matt/

I have been subscribed to their newsletter for a year and a half. So far, I have received nothing. There is an investor link on their home page with a number to call for user name & password. I wonder how private investors such as we could go about investing.
If, as droopeyes said we would be lucky to buy 5,000 shares, that would not be much of an investment either for the company or the investor. For at the current price of .0001, that is only a fifty-cent investment. That would seem to be of little significance for a multi-billion dollar project that needs funding. Why would the company even bother?
I have had no experience with grey sheets, but I've always suspected that somehow a private investor would have to pay considerably more than just buying a few million shares for .0001/share. Just guessing here, but maybe there is a minimum amount of money you would have to invest, like maybe $50,000 or so. Then they would just issue new shares to you. Even that figure would require 500 investors to raise just half the capital needed to fund this project. Aside from that, the outstanding shares would become enormous. No, I think that in reality once shares start becoming actively solicited and traded (and generally know to the public) that the stock price will rise significantly. The company would go quickly to OTC then Nasdaq. When Wynn casinos went public, their stock was offered at $14/share.
Irregardless, any shares we would be able to get now should grow tremendously in value by the time the project is completed and the doors are open. That is not projected to happen for 3 years. I have had this company on the back burner over a year, just waiting for some volume to indicate that it was time for me to jump in. That has not happened yet(only a few shares traded once every month or so), but the project seems to still be going forward and I am still waiting.

Plans to open the Ultimate Sports Resort in June of 2010
Came across this today. Looks like just maybe his dream may come true one day sooner than we think unless of course funding could change their schedule. Do they have the land and funds? Trump may want a piece of this investment.
http://www.ultimatesportsresort.com/aboutus.html
This is a story about a man who dares to be great!
In a world where people willingly settle for mediocrity and are taught that big dreams are for the foolhardy Matt Rose stands out as a shining tribute to the human spirit.
In June of 2003 while driving through Las Vegas, NV. Matt Rose had a vision, he saw in his minds eye the greatest sports and entertainment destination on earth towering across the horizon and in an instant his life was forever changed. At that moment he decided to build the Ultimate Sports Resort … or die trying.
Being a successful business man with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Matt possessed the skills to create a compelling business model; however, he was painfully aware that he lacked the experience and/or expertise which this multi-billion dollar project would require, so Matt embarked on a crusade to recruit the finest talent in every professional discipline necessary to turn his dream of the Ultimate Sports Resort into a reality.
In the beginning the nay-sayers laughed at the brazen audacity of this upstart group of dreamers who invested the seed capital necessary to get the ball rolling and who believed that Matt Rose could build the greatest sports destination on earth. Three years later the laughter is gone. Those on Wall Street who once thought Matt Rose was “a crazy” but with a good idea, have now come to realize that Matt Rose is a man with a steel will and a level of determination which is rarely seen, and that his dream of the Ultimate Sports Resort will soon become a reality.
Ultimate Sports Entertainment, Inc.incorporated in the state of Nevada on February 14, 2005.

With a project cost of more than $5 billion dollars, Ultimate Sports Entertainment, Inc. is building 17 million sq ft. of the single greatest sports and entertainment destination on earth.
Ultimate Sports Entertainment, Inc. plans to open the Ultimate Sports Resort in June of 2010; we will look forward to seeing you there.

Remember everybody, this project has been in the planning/funding/permit procuring stages for more than a year with no increase in stock price and no real trading volume. If and when the complex actually gets built, it will be like nothing Las Vegas or the rest of the world has ever seen. I have had it on my watch radar for quite a while, ready to jump on it if it ever showed concrete signs of life. There definitely seems to be no hurry on this one, plenty of time to do research.
I will try and find out some information from the company this next week. When I emailed them about 1 1/2 years ago, they did not reply, so I went to their office a few months ago. I found out very little, other than the project was still active and they were still very excited about it. They were getting permits, approvals, contractors, suppliers, surveys, funding, etc., which all takes time, is what I was informed. That was several months ago, and it may be about time to pay them another visit.
