VANCOUVER, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Madison Explorations Inc. ("Madison" or the "Company") (MDEX: OTC other) is pleased to report details on two of its new high priority exploration targets. The Big Blu Anomaly was initially discovered in 2006 as a result of a study of a recent Aeromagnetic Survey of southwest Saskatchewan. Big Blu showed a very strong 90% negative Keating correlation, which is very different than other targets in the area. A Pipe Model for Big Blu conducted in June 2006 by Patterson, Grant and Watson Limited of Toronto, Canada. All of Madison targets were analyzed by simultaneously examining the: 1) Total Magnetic Intensity (TMI) grid, 2) Total Magnetic Intensity profile, 3) Analytic Signal grid, 4) First Vertical Derivative of the Pole Reduced Field grid, 5) High Pass grid, 6) Digital Elevation Model grid, and 7) Planimetry overlain onto Airphoto. The Result of this study indicated that Big Blu revealed a strong anomaly in its Keating correlation, Total Magnetic Intensity, First and Second Derivatives, and Analytic Signal. During the last Phase of exploration, a single line of ground magnetics again confirmed the presence of an anomaly. Big Blu is scheduled for advanced geophysical study. The Wood Mountain North property, via independent testing, provided some of the largest and most abundant garnet and chromium diopside indicators minerals. In addition, high-chromium picroilmenite and high-chromium diopside were present. This is important because high-chromium picroilmenite and high-chromium diopside are the two strongest indicators of the presence of diamondiferous Kimberlite. As a part of our regional geophysical study, Wood Mountain North revealed an isolated anomaly in Total Magnetic Intensity, First and Second Derivatives, and Analytic Signal. In May of 2006 the Company entered into an Option Agreement with Cobra Energy Inc., a diversified U.S. based mining and investment company for a 15% interest in the Wood Mountain North property for US$50,000. Madison Explorations, Inc. is a progressive mineral exploration company focusing on the discovery of diamonds. The Company has a portfolio of highly prospective diamond properties located in one of Canada's newest diamond exploration regions in Southern Saskatchewan. On behalf of Madison Explorations Inc.
