3/4th thru he determines ASIC $1132 (update $1300 ASIC with Mang fees inclused.)

FX charge is in video, have finished it now. So it realy was a huge loss on that, and where they said it was a gain was a typo. Those FX things go back and forth.

They should have said ASIC no matter what, BUT $1300 is excellent at this tonnage. How many hard rock mines are under $1300 AISC at their tonnage except for extra high grade mines? Maybe none. In 1st Q Nick did tell me that Jan holidays in SA really slow things down. So we should pick up 10% from that alone. They have equipment availibility problems offset by higher grades. But have to guess Q2 will be 25% better than this. If Mupane downsizes maybe they can buy some of that equipment.

Their ASIC should be $850-950 or so, near projections when they get up to 4,000 oz per Q. Katchum thinks 10PE this Q and 1 PE next year.

Nick got back to me.Their site is under attack is why down, provider working on it.

He sent me the March 2022 Presentation as a PDF

OVERVIEW OF THE GALAXY MINE
M&I Resources: 970,904 oz Au at average grade of 2.77 g/t Au
Inferred Resources: 1,409,764 oz Au at average grade of 2.62 g/t Au

So grade is way higher than projected grade in last report. He had hinted at this in Dec, that the ore was wider and higher grade than they expected in a video.

Katchum went through the TSX version of 10K, his video is worth watching, link again . Bottom line is results are way better that PR official #s indicate.

Nick also said the Q1 report will be out this month.

Adjacent Mines:
Pan African Resources’ Barberton Gold Mine In fiscal 2019, produced 99,363 oz Au at a cash cost of US$927/oz Au Use an oxidization step JORC resource of 4.0 million oz Au at a grade of 4.19 g/t Au

So Galaxy grade similar to Barberton in Q4, it may be aberration but even if drops to 3.5 grams, way better than plan. And if not an aberration 4.0 / 2.7 = 48% more revenue per ton. All else equal profit would soar.

At $1,900 at $1,200 AISC = $700 profit. $1,900 Times 1.48 more gold = same as getting $2,812 an oz or $1,612 an oz or 2.3X or 130%more profit just due to grade. Say taxes eat 30% of the extra profit of $912 an oz (using this method) that would be $638 profit, a near double.

If these grades hold out it will be spectacular.

Will do it another way as sounds so good. Say the mine 15,000 oz in a year. If grade goes up on same tons 48% as Q4 showed, they would get 22,200 oz at same cost of production. If costs are $1200oz = at expected grade that is $700 X 15,000 = $10,500,000 profit and $18,000,000 costs.

At 22,200oz mined in same tonnage X $1900 =$41,800,000 revenue and $18,000,000 costs = $23,800,000 profit. Call it 30% taxes on extra $13,300,000 profit = $9,310,000 extra post tax profit.

So total profit = $19,810,000 At older expected grade post tax profit expected was $10,500,000 so profits go up 89% percent due to grade.

Both methods match. If this grade continues profits will be 89% higher than projections it seems, spectacular.

3-31-2022: In Person Interview with CEO Nick Brodie and Chairman Ravi Sood Post Mupane Sale

I traveled to the 121 Mining Conference in Las Vegas to meet with Nick Brodie and got the bonus of Ravi Sood also being there and spent several hours with both. Seeking Alpha member Angel Marauder was in the same meeting. A quick take is that I am now even more positive on Galane than before the meeting.

The Mupane Divestiture
The biggest change for Galane in 2022 will be their sale of Mupane, which was their only producing mine until Galaxy came on-line in late 2021. As this original article on Galane points out above, I was never high on Mupane and never invested in Galane until the Galaxy Project with a 1,000%+ IRR came along.

What did they sell it for? $1, but they eliminated $18 million of debt and liabilities as a result, so the real price they sold it for was $18 million, about 50% of Galane's market cap. Mupane is a high-cost and short life mine so I think the deal is a big positive. The deal likely will finalize in next 30 days or so and they said no hiccups yet.

Interesting. Indeed that would be huge amount of gold.

Here is my comment:

I have a large position and have bot more in the .10s in last two days.

What excites me is currently Galane is a 4 PE gold miner (trailing 12
months), but gold is much higher now and the Mupane Mine related debt
(vast majority) is going away with its sale.

At the same time the Galaxy ore body at the Galaxy Mine has just in Dec
gone into production, and is much lower AISC.
So profits will go way up at the same time that debt goes way down.

Debt is the main thing that is holding Galane back both stock wise and
funding Summit wise.

The main gem Galane owns is the Galaxy mine, millions of gold oz
resources.

Yet all this for just $38 million market Cap! In the future they can be
making more than $38 million profit a year with Galaxy and Summit
going, two low ASIC mines.

The Galaxy mill which is quite new is way bigger than the current
mining rate.
Obviously they plan to grow Galaxy Mine production.

As this mine cross section shows;

they have vein after vein there with tunnel access to all and are
just mining one vein now.

BTW that project just into production had a 1,000%+ IRR, the highest
have ever seen.

Their neighboring mine has found that the deeper they go the higher the
gold grade becomes.

Galaxy has just been mined for decades on the easy upper parts of those
veins.
All the veins are open downward, and they are very wide veins.

Galane may have 5 million oz of gold at Galaxy alone, it has not yet
been drilled deeper.

What excites me is currently Galane is a 4 PE gold miner (trailing 12 months), but gold is much higher now and the Mupane Mine related debt (vast majority) is going away with its sale. At the same time the Galaxy ore body at the Galaxy Mine has just in Dec gone into production, and is much lower AISC. So profits will go way up at the same time that debt goes way down. Debt is the main thing that is holding Galane back both stock wise and funding Summit wise. The main gem Galane owns is the Galaxy mine, millions of gold oz resources.

Yet all this for just $38 million market Cap! In the future they can be making more than $38 million profit a year with Galaxy and Summit going, two low ASIC mines. The Galaxy mill which is quite new is way bigger than the current mining rate. Obviously they plan to grow Galaxy Mine production. As this mine cross section shows https://static.seekingalpha.com/uploads/2021/10/10/535947-16338709121900315_origin.png they have vein after vein there with tunnel access to all and are just mining one vein now. BTW that project just into production had a 1,000%+ IRR, the highest have ever seen.

Their neighboring mine has found that the deeper they go the higher the gold grade becomes. Galaxy has just been mined for decades on the easy upper parts of those veins. All the veins are open downward, and they are very wide veins.

Katchum has Video out. I have email in to Nick on Friday no response yet, on same issue. I guessed 0-2 million debt after deal, seems him digging deep thinks less than .5 million debt left? And also big royalty liability gone too. So only 5% of equity in Galane is lost yet almost all debt and also payables and royalties owed are gone.

So will Galane be obliged to take a big credit over this, such as $10+ million profit credit for getting rid of debt while losing tiny equity in 2022? Seems so. Katchum is thinking 5 bagger in 1-2 years just based on 5 X EBITDA. Worth watching.

I would not be surprised with 5 bagger in next 18 months.

On Galane, this deal to divest Mupane to management is positive, they are getting rid of almost all debt by doing this.

Nice buy volume on the us side today, seems the selling on both exchanges has slowed considerably.

I'm happy to own GGGOF shares and to buy more at these stupid low prices. But we do not need Galane to do better than expected. What we need them to do is exactly what they say they will do. Hit the freaking oz and cost number guidance that they published yesterday. Hit those numbers and the stock will be fine, better than fine. GGGOF could and should be a 50cent stock in a year....but only if they come through and hit their promised production numbers with no negative surprises. Simple.

Key thing in near future is that "Galaxy is better than we thought" he is talking about the Galaxy ore body which is just one of dozens at Galaxy mine. It is higher grade than they thought before they started stoping and grade control drilling it. This means 2022 and 2023 will be better than projected, higher grade, more oz it would seem. And they can add 30% more production with spare capacity in their upgraded mill. So sounds like they will cherry pick the very best of dozens of other ore bodies they know of and start mining them. Galaxy could become a mini giant mine. The ore bodies have only been mined at top and are wide. Neighbor mine has gone lower and found higher grades with depth.
