Grifco International (Pink Sheets: GFCI) announces that while power remains out at Houma, there has been no damage to either machinery or building structures at both the Scott and Houma, Louisiana, properties. Hurricane Katrina has passed and power is expected to be restored soon since the Houma facility is right on Highway 311. Some of the Houma production is being moved to Scott for the interim period of power outage. Houma produces about $6-8 million and Scott $3-4 million of revenues annually for the company.
