I do not think anyone takes it to the Supreme Court.

All bets are off, if in the meantime, SPS is converted - then we (all F2, even common) would have a new case or just do with the facts here. Meaning the true loss was great.

I agree, and have been saying for years that the terms of the CONservatorship is a massive Takings crime. No one in this country could write themselves the terms that are in the CONservatorship, terms that change at the whim of those that are in control of this scam. A loan that can never be repaid, nationalizing the companies, seizing 95+% ownership through the SPS and warrants, and seizing the profits.

Hold the line! The thing that I always go back to is that for the Government to make anything, the share price has to go up tremendously. In that case our share price will go up along with it. We are both needing a higher price per share to maximize this investment! GLTA!

I am not too interested in this case that primarily benefits the JPS and Freddie commons. A parallel case along the same lines should be instituted by the fnma common shareholders. It’s not clear why Ackman did not file a lawsuit. In theory “takings” has a wider ramification and it is unconstitutional for the USG to profit unreasonably from a public company. Given the level of self-dealing with HERA, Ackman probably has taken a compromise deal by agreeing to 80% dilution which might be the best bipartisan deal that will guarantee win-win for all.

This is a good post. Likely could be some of the reason for the on again off again we have seen. Perhaps they figured it would resolve quicker?  Doubt they can influence any decision without raising flags. The governments lawyer didn’t seem like he was really trying. Maybe they are waiting on th ruling and ramp activity up when there is a chance of resolution?

Great now run the numbers WITHOUT the stolen warrants. The warrants were just supposed to be used as insurance for paying back the loan to the government- not to own 80% of a non-bankrupt co for pennies.

So I had ChatGPT run some scenarios with the following assumptions:
1. SPS written to 0
2. Full warrant dilution
3. Release and trading on NYSE
4. ERCF reduced to 2.5%
5. Trading fundamentally relative to 1995-2004 P/E and taking into account cash on hand

Freddie scenario:
EPS: $4.63
Shares at $56 w/12x PE
Dividend based on 45% payout based on historical trend: $2.08/share
Market cap: $181B

Fannie:
EPS: $3.34
Shares: $40
Dividend: $1.50/share
Market cap: $360B

These were “base” numbers with 12x P/E. The numbers shared were pretty close to the low end or “conservative” estimates. The bullish end went quite a bit higher. Just thought I’d share.

If Appeal court rules in favor of shareholders for $612M+ interest = $1B & remand back $40B claim for discovery then Gov has no option to fix NWS scam.

All the politicians want to do is to find ways to steal more from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to fund their DC agenda items.

They are too ( Fucking Stupid ) to make Housing more affordable the right way by setting the stage for lower Mortgage Rates, Building Supplies, and the like.

In the long run this Bill does nothing to support the Financial stability of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac !
