First Mining Gold Corporation (QX) (FFMGF)

I just watched this video and it's packed with information about what's happening with gold and the overall financial landscape. It has good insight as to what both China and the U.S. are attempting to do going forward.

Towards the end of the video the narrator gives four possible scenarios that could happen and all four seem plausible. I thought the 3rd scenario was probably what I would see being closest to happening. The video gave a really nice, short, analysis. Highly recommend.

I really think the U.S. is going have a problem with a gold revaluation or going back to gold as a dollar/treasury anchor and this is why.

If the Idiots running the Show in this country, should know that China has a hellava lot more gold than what the rest of world thinks they have. A gold revaluation in dollars would be playing right into China's hands. The U.S. keeps saying we have the most gold, but in reality, they don't and China most likely holds twice what we have.

Would the U.S. be stupid enough to revalue gold in dollars, not actually knowing how much gold China is holding now? Maybe, but IMO it wouldn't be a smart move.

In the meantime, China's setting up the infrastructure to back the Yuan with real, physical, gold and they're getting closer to having it ready to go. It won't happen overnight, but the process is getting closer to happening and it will be run out of Hong Kong, not mainland China.

China is continuing to buy gold hand over fist for a reason. They want to syphon off as much western gold as they can on the cheap before they move to a gold backing.

Yes, we keep getting cheaper and not moving to higher valuations, as one might expect with all this good news. All that bullshit about up 300%. From what. 08 a share! Come on Dan, you can do better than that.

There has to be a point in time that something really positive happens to move our shares permanently higher and closer to the valuations of our peers.

I think school is still out with getting the Natives to sign off on the mine being built AND what additional we're going to have to give up (money-wise) for that to make them happy. I assume that event has to happen before the Ontario EA is granted to us.

We should be in a good spot once all of that BS is finally put to bed. That should be most of the "derisking" out of the way and then they can concentrate on getting a good JV/financing deal done with someone.

My guess will be if our shares don't go a lot higher after a positive JV announcement is made, we might as well give up. LOL

Good video. While July 4th came and went and no gold-backed bond appeared, I still think they'll pull something out of the hat if they have to. This chance of this increases as Trump looks dumber by the week with the Iran debacle.

The interviewer asks him flat-out about M&A going forward and what he says indicates to me FM is looking for silver companies to buy, not gold assets, so how that goes for them doing something with FMG, I think brings up some questions.

They have Jerritt Canyon coming online, so that will be mostly a gold asset for them. They could be looking to acquire another silver company. That seems to be the drift I got from Manny.

The Natives want ALL the parties involved that stand to benefit from the mine being built to pay up. This seems to be why the Big Chief is raising Hell that Ontario isn't talking to them. It would seem his bitch is that Ontario doesn't want to pay their share for what they stand to gain from the mine being built.

Is his complaint valid? Who knows, but this would seem to be a possible problem moving forward. It says in the last part of your post that the Natives want the Ontario government to JOIN NEGOTIATIONS. Didn't I read that the Natives didn't agree with the gov. on the environmental impact of the mine, but it could be made all better if FMG paid $7.5M to change their mind? LOL

So, while I definitely see us partnering with someone at Springpole, I'm less convinced it will be with FM. I don't know why, but that's just my take. We have that silver agreement with FM at Springpole, so I could be wrong.

Dan came out and made the outright claim, on one those interviews I posted, that FMG wanted to partner at Springpole, so IMO once we get Springpole derisked they should announce some sort of partnership deal. It will be with someone that has a MINE BUILDING resume already in place and the people that can get the job done. Dan made the comment that we would either have to find the people or partner with someone that could build Springpole. They may be talking with those potential partners during this period of time between getting permitted and before the construction decision is announced. Remember they're doing another tweeking of the mine plan between that time.

Keith also said in that interview that FM has 500K ounces of silver in their vault in reserve. That's a nice amount to be holding for a rainy day. Wow.

All these damn politicians are increasing their wealth from their political connections and like Trump they don't even try to keep it under wraps. Trump and his family own Bitcoin, so why wouldn't he push legislation to create a Bitcoin reserve or help the crypto cartel? I see that as a huge conflict of interest.

Because after all, it's in his best interest financially while he's in office, but is it in the best interest of the country long term? I would contend no. If First Majestic is looking to build up their precious metals pipeline, FF would be a nice fit. As it would be for several other companies. Dan said more in that Crux interview than he did in the webinar. He at least was more specific on what we had to do with this "more work to be done" BS.

The Natives won't come onboard unless FMG finalizes the term sheets the communities approved and that hasn't been done yet. This is why our share price is jumping around would be my guess. This thing is not finalized or complete yet, so I don't think we see a strong push higher in our shares until that happens.

Horrible day for gold and silver and the miners. I picked up a few shares of First Majestic today. I was torn between AG, FF, CDE and AEM. Hard to make a call as I expect they'll all do well going forward.

So toward the end of the article the explanation appears as to why Trumper is a big bitcoin fan - he has PERSONAL bitcoin holdings of $50 million. I wonder how much his children hold? So if the government starts buying it I am sure the price will rise, making Trump and his family even richer than they already are....using our tax money. Great job. That is on top of all the money he and his cronies are making with the on again, off again announcements regarding the Iran war. I was positive about Trumper in the beginning of his second term, but the stuff that has come out about his family involvement in crypto, real estate deals in the Middle East, Trump bonds and the events around the Iran war have caused me to view him negatively now. I think this is the way it worked. The federal EA was approved to us BECAUSE FMG got the Natives to sign these term sheet agreements. That in principle means that they are agreeable to go forward with the mine IF their other terms are met, so while the Federal EA was approved of course, we still have the Ontario provincial EA to go. I don't think the federal EA can be rescinded, but according to the Chief he claims the Ontario government won't talk to them.

What that all entails, I don't know, but I think the Natives are between a rock and a hard place. They want to come to some sort of agreement with FMG on the final approval of the mine and Dan said the Ontario EA is due to be given by the end of the Summer, so it would seem an agreement timeline with the Natives has to happen by the end of August.

I'm not sure how our getting the Natives final approval and getting the Ontario EA are connected. I get the impression that we get the Ontario EA approval with or without their final approval, because of our already having the federal EA. I guessing that the Ontario EA can be given without a final approval from the Natives, but I may be wrong.

We should see more negotiations ongoing, before end of August and by then a deal will be signed for final approval from the Natives. After that the Ontario EA will be granted.
That's the work left to be done.

Forgive me if this has been discussed already, but do you know if the Canadian Gov can come back and rescind the EA approval if the natives don't give their full support? Or maybe the Ontario provincial Gov won't approve until the natives are happy?? It sounded to me like the Ontario Gov and the Natives weren't getting along very well and their approval was a relative layup compared to the Fed. Without knowing the minutiae of the agreements, it certainly sounds like WE hold the better poker hand here. That's just my intuition but could be wrong. Who the hell knows.

Terms sheets are what those agreements we signed with the Natives are AND they are non-binding, so while we have term sheets in place now, I suppose the Natives could back out of them if they wanted to.

No, he just mentioned about doing more work with the Natives (see my post from his recent Crux interview) and getting the permitting from Ontario, but nothing really specific. I believe the biggest nut to crack for them is to get the FINAL APPROVAL from the Natives. How much money are they asking for or what other perks do they want for that final approval? They have a 35 point approval thing that probably has to be negotiated.

Dan's not going to come out and discuss that in public, understandably, but that's IMO what this is the big MORE WORK part of this picture that has to be done. Getting financing and building the mine is way down the road still.

IMO getting this total approval from the Natives is our biggest short-term hurdle.

Implanting, I couldn't join the webinar. Did Dan go into the specifics of "lots of work to do" and what that actually means? Is he talking about the normal work we already knew would have to be done to build this mine, or is this some other work still related to permitting/natives?

Dan interviewed by Crux. I noticed something he said starting at about 4:20 into the video that revealed something I wasn't aware of. He mentioned turning the TERM SHEET AGREEMENTS with the communities into FULL PROJECT AGREEMENTS.

So, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but in reality from what he said, we don't have the total approval from the Natives yet and apparently that's the work still left to do. The agreements FMG made with the Natives have still yet to be given full approval by them and probably why our shares haven't moved higher the way they should have. That's my take anyway.

So, while it was good for Dan to have a webinar for shareholders, most people, LIKE ME, want to have some of the Q&A questions shareholders are there for to get answered. That didn't really happen this morning. The young lady moderating the webinar asked just about all the questions and shareholder questions didn't even get addressed.

I think that's the way they wanted it to be. Don't answer any HARD questions that might be offensive to someone. Unfortunately, this is the format that's been used for a couple of these webinars. If you don't want to answer real questions why have a Q&A segment at all?

It appears the market is taking Dan's point about A LOT MORE WORK TO DO at face value, hence the selling.
