BOSTON, May 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Experian Data
Quality, a leading provider of data quality software and services,
today announced the release of self-service bulk email validation
on https://www.edq.com. This is the first in a new line of
self-service software-as-a-service offerings the company is
releasing to provide customers with additional access options to
data quality tools, allowing them to use data cleansing how and
when they want.
The tool allows organizations to upload a list of email data for
Experian Data Quality to validate. A sample of the results are
returned and customers then purchase the resulting output with a
credit card and download the file instantly. This allows businesses
to test the health of their email list and then improve it based on
the results.
"Our clients and the market have told us they would like to
validate lists of email addresses quickly and efficiently without
having to interact with our staff," said David Northridge, senior vice president of
global product strategy for Experian Data Quality. "The launch of a
self-service bulk email verification tool is the first of several
products we plan to bring to the market in an ecommerce fashion
that enable specific common data sets to be checked quickly for
accuracy and provided to the client in an easy-to-understand
fashion. These tools will allow for faster delivery of
data-cleansing services and enable our clients to see value from
their data faster."
The email-validation platform is backed by the security
reputation of Experian and a 99.5 percent service level agreement.
Experian Data Quality checks the email for the syntax, domain, mail
server and account. All validation occurs in real time and is not
based on a reference database.
