I just got my check in the mail. They are reimbursing 32.21% of recognized loss. Much more than I expected. I lost in 4 digits on this one, so this was a pleasant surprise.

I may not have given ssn either. Why the hell do they even need it to begin with?

i sent them a copy of ss# with the letter.hope they honor it.
i cant beleive they didnt have my social.
sure been a long time since i 1st submitted.months

I haven't received anything yet. Why didn't they just ask for your ssn? You can't resubmit?

got my remission letter today and was denied,due to i didn't include my SS#.....fk'n bullchit!

I wonder how long it will take for checks to come. I took a big hit on this during the time of interest.

Yes I received a few weeks ago e mail from the DOJ stating he was about to be released to a halfway house to finish his one year sentence there. then in march he is done.
I will copy and paste some info below, I will not post all because some of my info would be compromised.

One year in jail,THATS IT.whats up with that? no restitution was ordered.
once again no justice for the little guy.

I have 61,000 shares. I wouldn't mind putting some someplace else, even if it wasn't much.

BTW, I didn't get any letter. I guess I need to take some action in order to get such a letter...

When I call it goes to Her voice mail. I am thinking they want My contact info phone # ect. Who I am,then call me back as I do have a block on My cell #.
Last time i looked on the web site there was no new info there either.
Tomorrow is friday I will call again to see if she answers.If I find anything out I will still post it unless she makes me belive for some reason I should not.

I am sure they do want to know who they are dealing with and giving information to.

By the way, i wish I had this money back NOW, I could buy a little more of tivu that is My only penny stock as of now.
But anyway we will have to wait until after the 26th to find out if the Judge rules restitution.

I thought it was an empty shell, as far as I was concerned.

as far as I can tell if restitution is ordered when he is sentenced that we should recive money back. the amount of our losses where reported by F.N.R.A. to the court.
So We just have to wait until after march 26th (sentencing date)to see what the judge orders.

I'll have to check....But it is odd that in my Scottrade history back to day 1, I can not find any record. And BOA does not have a way to go back past '08.....

Weird, I typed EGIL and it came up "no records found". I wouldn't be surprised if Scottrade did something criminal to me. It would not be the first time. I missed out on $12,000 years ago because they did not allow my online trade to go through. I had to call it in, so I got discouraged. Missed out. They blocked my will that I pay them for every time I place a trade!

Anyway I hope my name stays with the case when restitution is approved. It would be nice to get some of my losses back....

Not sure what broker you used back then, but all I did to figure out how much I lost was go to my Scottrade account history, set the date to "All Available", type EGIL under "Symbol" and click Go.

You can manually add it up with the info on that page or export it to Excel and do it from there.

If you used a different online broker, they probably have similar functionality that you can use.

I got a letter also! I lost $ too. What do we do now, and why are there so many scammers with the same ethnic names involved in these scams? Is it something in the water? Or is there a more deeper reason?

I received the same letter. I had no idea what it was about at first, but the name EdgeTech International seemed vaguely familiar. After thinking about it for a few minutes, "EGIL" popped into my mind.

I did a search for it in my Scottrade account history and found that I lost $1,712.48 on trades and also spent $194.73 on commission fees related to EGIL trades between 09/13/06 and 06/28/07. Worst stock I ever messed with and I haven't traded much at all since then.

I just received a letter in the mail that bradley nirenberg plead guilty to a pump and dump with this company. He was scamming a few companies. Im a victim of his scam but its been so long I dont remember and cant find any company I owned that had to do with him

I'd know it was a shell for some time. I'm not sure what the transfer agent does, though. Maybe he was supposed to do something periodically and wasn't doing it?

Dude, did you see it made that list for that transfer agaent that is in alot of trouble with the SEC. I sold as soon as I saw that the other day. A few of theirs had been suspended
