$AUSI Aura’s newly developed military system integrates the company’s military-grade AuraGen® generator with a new advanced 15-kW Electronic Control Unit (ECU) which utilizes state-of-the- art silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs to dramatically improve switching performance while enhancing thermal performance when compared to prior IGBT-based systems.

The rollout of Aura’s new 15-kW power solution for military applications is just the latest culmination of the company’s significant investment in engineering personnel and tooling taking place since July 2019 when shareholders ushered new management into the company. “During the last 6 months, we have wholly reimagined our ECU design and significantly expanded the applications for its use” explained Aura’s President, Ms. Cipora Lavut.

While Aura’s new 15-kW ECU continues to offer unparalleled mobile power performance for vehicle and maritime applications, the company’s new 15-kW ECU is now also configurable for applications requiring a combination of AC and -48V DC power, such as the Telcom industry (including the powering cell towers). In addition to its new 15-kW ECU, Aura has also developed a smaller 6.5 kW ECU solution which is roughly one-third smaller than previous designs, and which incorporates the latest, state-of-the-art processors and other components.

How is it the person who scared the hell out of the Russians, an his technology ( star wars ) cant seem to get off the ground. Military experience has proven beyond a shadow of doubt the viability, why have sales lagged here! The applications for the viper are staggering, what gives, what is holding up the success of aura systems. After years of experience with military, proving it works, no civilian sales. Curious

Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: AUSI) announced today the introduction of its 10 kW 220 VAC 3-phase solution. This is the first of a new series of 10 kW machines to be introduced over the next several months. The other 10 kW configurations will include a 10 kW solution with a 480VAC 3-phase system with built in IEEE-1547 grid interface.

Three-phase power can be more efficient than single-phase power in certain applications. For example, 3-phase motors, are typically much more powerful than their single-phase counterparts, and three-phase machines are generally lower cost because they are less complex, do not require starting capacitors and run at lower currents.

Dr. Arthur Schwartz, Aura’s CTO said, “The introduction of 3 phase AuraGen/VIPER solution will enhance our product line in areas where the AuraGen/VIPER power is needed to support electric motors, compressors, pumps and similar items. In addition, a configuration with built in grid interface will provide the Company with new markets where the AuraGen power solution can be used to turn waste energy into useful power encountered in alternative power solutions such as Combined Heat & Power (“CHP”) applications. The unique properties of the AuraGen make it an ideal technical match for these applications where waste heat or water flow variations will not affect the quality of the power put back into the grid.”

Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:AUSI) announced today that it now has confirmed orders for 2,137 systems for the South Korean military. The above systems include 600 systems to be delivered from the earlier announced 1,000-system order. The 2,137 systems are spread over 7 different programs and have a value of approximately $13 million. Over 80% of the above VIPER systems are to be delivered over the next 4 years with the first shipments to occur in February 2012.

In addition to the above-confirmed orders there are approximately 12,500 additional units under consideration for an additional 4 military programs. While a favorable decision to use Aura’s VIPER on the additional programs is expected over the next six months no assurances can be given as to when or if such other contracts will materialize.
