Prime Meridian Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:PMR) (FRANKFURT:DYD) ("Prime
Meridian") announces that drilling is underway on the Wilson Creek IOCG (Iron
Oxide-Copper-Gold) Project Area. Drilling began on September 5th with the
collaring of DDH S9-1 on a large and coincident magnetic anomaly with a direct
electromagnetic response developed from Prime Meridian's GEOTEM airborne survey
and further confirmed by ground geophysical surveys earlier this year. After the
completion of S9-1, drilling will continue on other IOCG project targets where
Prime Meridian's geological reconnaissance samples from outcrop and subcrop were
found to contain anomalous copper-gold-tungsten-bismuth-flourine mineralization
(see Prime Meridian's NI 43-101 report for details) and associated hydrothermal
alteration. Prime Meridian's airborne and ground geophysical surveys confirmed
targets that are coincident with and peripheral to the anomalous reconnaissance
sample locations. Minimally, six separate targets will be drill tested at this
location which encompasses an area of approximately 2 miles x 3 miles in
dimension.

The final geophysical datasets from the flying of Geotech's VTEM surveys
(heliborne magnetic / electromagnetic system) over three of Prime Meridian's
Mid-Tier nickel-copper projects re being interpreted by Geotech's geophysicist.
Target exploration will begin at these projects in the Norway Lake, Wolf
Mountain and Winterfire areas after the receipt of these data.

The drilling program at the Bangston Lake Project was completed. Four holes were
drilled there, all designed to test individual, high priority magnetic and
electromagnetic targets developed from Prime Meridian's airborne and subsequent
ground geophysical surveys. A total of 222.6 feet of massive to semi-massive
sulfide was discovered in three of the four holes with the thickest intercept of
131.1 feet occurring in DDH BLS-1. Assays have been received for three of the
four holes with the results tabulated below indicating that there are no
significant base metal concentrations. The fourth hole, designed to test for
base metal enrichment at the contact of the DDH BLS-1 massive sulfide body with
a Keweenawan-aged mafic intrusive (gabbro), was not assayed. Only trace amounts
of chalcopyrite were noted in the core samples from this hole.

The geochemical anomalies present in soils collected on the geophysical grid, as
reported in Prime Meridian's news release dated August 24, 2007, were also
explained by drilling as being derived from an ultramafic intrusive
(serpentinite / peridotite protolith) with a thickness of 230 feet. This unit
resides in the hanging wall above the massive sulfide intercepts. No significant
geochemical values for base or precious metals are contained within this
intrusive.
