Laurion Mineral Exploration Inc. Announces Extension of Warrants

Laurion Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:LME) (the "Corporation") is
pleased to announce that an application has been approved by the TSX Venture
Exchange to extend the term of the 11,285,150 warrants issued by the Corporation
on November 16, 2007 (the "Warrants"). The Warrants were scheduled to expire on
November 16, 2009 but will now expire on November 16, 2010.
