Bourgeois, Walter Chayka, Robert Johnston and Grant Reeves were elected as directors at the annual general and special meeting of shareholders held on August 26, 2010. At a board meeting held following the shareholder meeting the board approved the appointment of Peter Bourgeois as Lead Director and Grant Reeves as Chairman of the Board. Galvanic also announces that on August 26(th), 2010 the board approved the appointment of Ms. Helen Cornett as Chief Executive Officer of Galvanic. "Helen has been preparing for this role over the last couple of years and we are pleased to announce her promotion", says Grant Reeves. "We have full confidence her leadership will provide a clear direction and the discipline necessary to execute the Company's strategic plans." Galvanic wishes to thank Ms. Cornett for her exemplary past service as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Galvanic is also pleased to announce the promotion of Pam Clarke, CGA, to the position of Controller and Acting Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Clarke has been responsible for the general accounting activities of the Company.
