DAY Ceridian HCM Holding Inc

Daylight Energy Ltd. ("Daylight" or the "Corporation") (TSX:DAY)  today mourns
the passing of Gordon Stollery, a member of Daylight's Board of Directors. Mr.
Stollery passed away on December 12, 2011 at the age of 64 while on vacation in
the British Virgin Islands. Stollery, a former director and founder of Highpine
Oil & Gas Limited, joined the Board of Directors following Daylight's
acquisition of Highpine in October 2009.

dedicated and diligent director whose strong leadership has been invaluable to
Daylight. Over the past several years we have come to know and appreciate
Gordon's warmth, character and insight, all of which will be greatly missed by
Gordon's many friends at Daylight, as well as his friends and colleagues
throughout the industry. On behalf of the entire organization and Daylight's
Board of Directors, I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Gordon's
wife and family".
