AorTech International plc ("the Company") announces that it received
notification on 5 March 2003 that LeggMason Investments (Europe) Limited and
funds under its management no longer have a notifiable interest in the ordinary
shares of the Company.

The Company also announces that it received notification on 7 March 2003 that
David Barry now holds 1,310,000 ordinary shares in the Company registered in the
name of Value Investments Limited. This represents approximately 3.4% of the
issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
