Consumer spending remained resilient during the quarter, with payments volume rising 9% on a constant-currency basis for the three months ended March 31, 2026. Cross-border volume excluding intra-Europe transactions grew 11%, while total cross-border volume increased 12%. Processed transactions reached 66.1 billion, up 9% from the prior year.“Visa’s second quarter net revenue growth of 17% was the highest since 2022, driving GAAP EPS up 36% and adjusted EPS up 20%,” said Ryan McInerney. “Consumer spending remained resilient, and our strategy and innovations fueled strong performance in consumer payments, commercial and money movement solutions and value-added services.”GAAP net income came in at $6.0 billion, or $3.14 per share, representing a 36% increase from the previous year. Futures drift amid oil gains and earnings anticipation



By 03:28 ET, Dow futures were little changed, S&P 500 futures were down 14 points, or 0.2%, and Nasdaq 100 futures had fallen 117 points, or 0.4%.In the previous session, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite posted gains, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined.Investors are also preparing for one of the busiest weeks of the earnings season, with roughly 35% of S&P 500 companies due to report results. Trump weighs Iran proposal as tensions persist



Reports indicated that Trump is unhappy with Iran’s latest offer, which would end hostilities and reopen the Strait of Hormuz but delay discussions on Tehran’s nuclear program.Trump has repeatedly emphasized that dismantling Iran’s nuclear capabilities—particularly any pathway to a nuclear weapon—has been a key objective of the joint U.S.-Israeli offensive launched in late February. Reuters, citing a U.S. official, said this stance has led to dissatisfaction with the proposal.Hopes for renewed diplomatic engagement were also dampened after Trump canceled plans to send negotiators to Pakistan for fresh talks. OpenAI falls short of internal growth targets

Visa (NYSE: V) today commenced an Exchange Offer pursuant to which its Class B-1 and Class B-2 common stock may be exchanged for a combination of Visa’s Class B-3 common stock, Visa’s Class C common stock, which will be freely tradeable following temporary transfer restrictions, and, where applicable, cash consideration in lieu of fractional shares. This is the second Exchange Offer in a previously announced program that enables Visa to permit the release of transfer restrictions on portions of Visa’s Class B common stock.


The Exchange Offer will expire on May 8, 2026, at one minute after 11:59 p.m. New York City time unless extended or earlier terminated by Visa (the “Expiration Date”). Settlement of the shares will be made promptly following the Expiration Date.


Key Elements of the Exchange Offer


In exchange for each share of Class B-1 common stock validly tendered (and not withdrawn) and accepted by Visa, a participating Class B-1 stockholder will receive:



one quarter of a newly issued share of Class B-3 common stock that will be subject to the same restrictions on transfer and conversion that currently apply to Class B-1 common stock;



newly issued shares of Class C common stock in an amount equivalent to one half of a share of Class B-1 common stock and one quarter of a share of Class B-2 common stock, with such equivalence based on the respective amounts of Class A common stock into which Class B-1, Class B-2 and Class C common stock would be convertible as of the Expiration Date; and



any applicable cash consideration in lieu of fractional shares.

Based on current conversion rates, each share of Class B-1 common stock accepted for exchange will be exchanged for approximately 0.2877 shares of Class C common stock, and each share of Class B-2 common stock accepted for exchange will be exchanged for approximately 0.1884 shares of Class C common stock.


As a condition to participating in the Exchange Offer, each eligible Class B stockholder, together with any of its parent guarantors, must enter into a makewhole agreement. Under this agreement, the stockholder and its parent guarantors will agree to reimburse Visa in cash for certain future obligations related to U.S. covered litigation that, but for the stockholder’s participation in the Exchange Offer, would have otherwise been borne by such holder through its ownership of Class B common stock tendered in the Exchange Offer.

Der in Zusammenarbeit mit Morning Consult erstellte Visa Business-to-AI (B2AI) Report verdeutlicht, wie KI schon heute die Nachfrage beeinflusst. Knapp 40 % der Amerikaner haben aufgrund der Nutzung eines KI-Agenten oder -Tools bereits einen Kauf getätigt, den sie normalerweise gar nicht in Betracht gezogen hätten. Dies ist ein Frühindikator dafür, dass intelligente Systeme langsam Einfluss darauf nehmen, wie Menschen Produkte entdecken und Kaufentscheidungen treffen.

Die Befragung wurde zwischen dem 29. Januar und dem 6. La plupart des dirigeants d'entreprise se préparent à un monde où l'intelligence artificielle ne se contente pas d'assister le commerce, elle agit comme une partie prenante. Une nouvelle étude de Visa (NYSE :V) souligne la rapidité avec laquelle cette transformation s'accélère.


Le rapport Visa Business-to-AI (B2AI), réalisé en collaboration avec Morning Consult, met en lumière l'influence déjà considérable de l'IA sur la demande. Près de 40 % des Américains ont effectué un achat qu'ils n'auraient normalement pas envisagé sans avoir utilisé un agent ou un outil d'IA. Ce premier constat indique que les systèmes intelligents commencent à influencer la manière dont les consommateurs découvrent et décident de leurs achats.


Le nouveau rapport révèle également que 53 % des entreprises interrogées aux États-Unis autoriseraient les agents IA à négocier directement, en leur nom, les prix ou les conditions avec d'autres agents IA, signe que le commerce entre IA est sur la voie du développement.


Dans le même temps, 71 % des entreprises se disent prêtes à optimiser leurs produits, leurs offres et leurs expériences spécifiquement pour les agents IA, tandis que 77 % utilisent déjà l'IA ou la testent dans leurs activités.

53 % autoriseraient les agents IA à négocier directement avec d'autres agents IA



88 % sont disposés à fournir des données de prix ou d'inventaire aux systèmes d'IA d'entreprise



55 % connaissent déjà le concept du commerce B2AI



C'est le signe d'un tournant : les marques ne s'adressent plus seulement aux humains, elles se préparent à interagir plus librement avec des systèmes intelligents agissant pour le compte des clients et des entreprises.


Les consommateurs sont prêts, mais avec des garde-fous


Côté consommateur l'acceptation s'accélère, mais la confiance demeure le facteur déterminant pour généraliser l'adoption. Le rapport a constaté que :



58 % des Américains abordent sereinement l'idée que l'IA compare les prix



55 % abordent sereinement l'idée que l'IA applique des réductions



38 % des personnes interrogées abordent sereinement l'idée que l'IA effectue un achat

Seulement 27 % abordent sereinement l'idée de laisser l'IA dépenser de l'argent de manière autonome et sans limites



60 % refuseraient que l'IA dépense le moindre montant sans autorisation

Près de la moitié de la génération Z (48 %) déclare faire confiance aux systèmes d'IA intégrés aux réseaux de paiement, contre seulement 20 % des baby-boomers. Parmi les membres de la génération Z et les Millennials utilisant des assistants d'achat IA, près de la moitié indiquent avoir effectué des achats qu'ils n'auraient normalement pas envisagés sans les recommandations de l'IA.
