Final Dividend

Further to the announcement of the preliminary results for the year ended 30
April 2003, made today, the Board of Southern Vectis wishes to announce that the
final dividend of 1.55p per ordinary share will be paid on 16 September 2003.
The ex-dividend date will be 27 August 2003 and the associated record date will
be 29 August 2003.
