But it signifies something isn't over until it's over, as Iin the case of an Opera it's usually ends with the Opera's star belting out a closing tune... And with WaMu's Legacy Shareholders, the ending will commence with the announcement by the FDIC that it's closing the Receivership. IMO

I agree with you Stox. We need closure. There are few windows left open and stated in the DD. I at least believe that FDIC must close receivership terminate receivership this year and we must see a reorganization of RKT. and F/F must be taken out of conservativeship; Happy Fathership to all.

Being a giver has many hidden rewards, but in the real word , the joy of giving and being in the position to give is quite satisfying to the soul.

Three weeks ago I met a young Hiwaiian man in Kehia at a craft show who was born and had lived in Lahina on the Island of Maui. He lost his PARENTS, home, business and well over $200,000 in equipment to the horrendous fire . HE HAD LESS THAN 5 MINUTES to geather up his two small daughters, his wife and and what he could of personal belonging. I have never met a more humble person who pulled himself up with very little and down sized his original business of T shirt printing , engraving and wooden plaques to just the the later. He was just thankful to be alive and have a beautiful and supporting wife and two awesome kids. He had a thriving business , but now only does two craft shows weekly and hacks out a living. HE ADORES HIS KIDS AND WIFE and their interaction are a thing of joy to witness. Our paths crossed for a reason and my wife and I feel led to pursue a path to help them.

FDIC and JPMORGAN can set themselves up to be the "saviors" and Jamie Dimon, whose been uncharacteristically quiet recently, can come on strong and take lead of the rudderless Democrat Party that's floundering on the rocks of extreme far left politics, and be the candidate that appeals to more centralist and independent voters.

I think if you look at the number of banks that have been on the failed bank list longer than WMB 2008, all but IndyMac claim to be terminated and no longer are a legal entity, or merged into another bank.

IndyMac states:
Section 11(d)(11)(A) of the FDI Act, 12 U.S.C. 1821(d)(11)(A), sets forth the order of priority for distribution of amounts realized from the liquidation or other resolution of an insured depository institution to pay claims. Under the statutory order of priority, administrative expenses and deposit liabilities must be paid in full before any distribution may be made to general unsecured creditors or any lower priority claims. The FDIC has determined that the assets of IndyMac Bank are insufficient to make any distribution on general unsecured claims and therefore, such claims, asserted or unasserted, will recover nothing and have no value. The FDIC has also determined that the assets of IndyMac Federal are insufficient to make any distribution on general unsecured claims and therefore, such claims, asserted or unasserted, will recover nothing and have no value.

So maybe we are up next? Maybe we get the IndyMac statement, or final reconciliation whatever that comes to?

If you look at them in comparison, they don't leave much hope. Could the PA&A be used to force JPM to complete it with book value payments... I think that would be the only hope. IndyMac had many bidders and received a substantial payment that still wiped out shareholders and other subordinate claims.
Maybe we will finally see what's behind door number #3. Which ever way it goes, I for one will be glad when it is over.

Fidelity launched a government money market fund specifically designed for stablecoin issuers.
The fund invests exclusively in eligible reserve assets permitted for stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act.

Fidelity Investments launched a new government money market fund designed to serve as a vehicle for stablecoin issuers.

The Fidelity Reserves Digital Fund (FYMXX) aims to deliver maximum current income while preserving capital and maintaining liquidity, according to the fund's prospectus. Shares are offered to institutional investors, including stablecoin issuers. The money market fund launched on June 15.

"Fund shares are expected to be held primarily by one or more stablecoin issuers as all or a portion of the reserve assets that back the stablecoins issued to their customers," the prospectus said.

Fidelity's new fund invests exclusively in eligible reserve assets permitted for stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act. These include U.S. Treasury bills, notes and bonds, cash, overnight repurchase agreements, and other government money market funds that are compliant with the stablecoin regulations.

The fund has a minimum initial investment of $1 million, which may be waived or lowered at the fund’s discretion. The fund seeks to maintain a stable net asset value of $1.00 per share. It has a management fee of 0.25%.

The prospectus also noted that fund assets are expected to fluctuate due to the creation of additional stablecoins or the redemption of existing stablecoins, especially during times of market uncertainty or volatility.

Fidelity's latest launch came amid a wave of investment companies launching similar products. Earlier this week, State Street launched its GENIUS-aligned stablecoin reserves money market fund. BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, and BlackRock launched similar funds last year.

I believe that they do CARE, but they'll only do/say something IF they think that it will actually help the stock price (they have RSU's as well, you know).

REMEMBER with the PFSI shit hit earlier this year, and the stock went from like $21 to $17? Within 2 days, the CEO (Varun) was on CNBC announcing that RKT had its best quarter in 4 yrs, and the stock went back into the 20's.

Right now the FACT is that we're in a temp down cycle for Housing, with the Iran war and Rates going up (delaying the Spring buying season).

Let's see what housing does in June/July, and see what RKT says on their ER call for Q2.

IF we do not get paid by Sept/Oct 2026, then it only means there is no 'alternate pathways' that were "In Motion' and we are Completely at the Mercy of JPIG & FDIC for any Eventual "Closing' of the Receivership...... In that Scenario,, JPIG will 'transfer' any Mortgages that get 'Refinanced' or sold by the Home owners onto its 'books 'surreptiously' and eventually nothing will be on FDIC's books...

The fact that the FDIC has just recently closed a few bank receiverships that were seized back in 2008 and 2009 speaks volumes for the potential of something for us who did the necessary signing in a timely manner in 2012.

I'll disagree, BUT you have to understand that they are methodically working on their integration plan and the expected savings that comes from that, AND towards the goal of an S&P500 inclusion (next year).

At the present time, only retail is fretting about the PPS. We were at $19+ before Trumps MBS Tweets, and $19+ before the Iran war started.

I suspect after the next earnings call, we'll be over $16 (assuming that housing gets unfrozen with the Iran war "ending")
