Thanks I do not have NAV at this time but am watching it. Looking for long term holds I would use the MACD indicator above 0, and go to as large a timeframe as possible. Of the four stocks you listed two of them look positive on the quarterly chart. BYDDY and PCRFF both have the MACD indicator signal line above 0, and the charts are making long term moves higher. Those are what I would be interested in.

I haven't really made a list of 20-year battery charts and they probably wouldn't show up readily on quarterly charts yet, but if I find some I'll send a note. This is what I would be using to check the major trend of charts, then probably use some other indicator or chart pattern (such as a bull flag), or time the entry on a dip (for instance using Slow Stochastics), or catch a breakout (with the CCI). Keeping an eye on it too, the trend hasn't been good but a reversal can happen here.

Moved up ~ 13% today based on an analysts positive comments.

HILADELPHIA — In an interview during the American Trucking Associations’ annual Management Conference & Exhibition, Jeff Sass, senior vice president for truck sales and marketing, said he thinks truck sales overall next year will be good for International as well as for the industry overall.

Looking ahead to 2016 expectations, “I think it’s going to be strong,” said Sass, who joined Navistar about four months ago after a 20-year career at Paccar. “It probably won’t be as high [as 2015] in the on highway sector, maybe down 5%. The vocational sector will be flat to up a little bit and we feel medium-duty will be up.”
