CSC Signs $71 Million IT Services Contract With Cinergy EL SEGUNDO, Calif., July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE:CSC) today announced that it has signed a five-year, $71 million information technology (IT) applications services agreement with Cinergy Services, Inc., the administrative arm of Cinergy Corp. CSC will provide applications development and support for non-core functions. Cinergy will retain applications work related to mission-critical company programs. "This strategic relationship will allow Cinergy's IT employees to concentrate on the Cinergy-specific applications that are unique to our business while consolidating more standard applications support," said Bennett Gaines, vice president and chief information officer at Cinergy.
